If you are looking for the perfect base to explore Graz, this apartment’s location is hard to beat, being situated right in the proximity of the iconic Schlossberg. Everything you could possibly need is within a short stroll: charming coffee shops and restaurants are right around the corner. The nearby farmer's market is a must-visit for fresh, local treats. Supermarkets are close by. There are excellent public transportation links that make easy navigating the rest of Graz. Plus, a huge bonus for those traveling by car—the included parking space in a nearby garage is a total lifesaver in this part of town! Despite being a ground-level apartment, the layout is impressively optimized. It comfortably fits a small family of 4–5 people thanks to a very clever "vertical" concept. The sleeping arrangements involve an interesting upstairs design. It’s a great use of space, though it’s best suited for those who are comfortable with heights and a bit of a climb! The apartment is well-equipped with a thoughtful disposition of furniture and amenities, ensuring you have everything you need for a functional stay.

While our stay was largely positive, we encountered some slight issues with the drainage system and noticed that the cleaning could be a bit more thorough in a few hidden corners. However, these felt like small maintenance points that are easily fixable and didn't detract significantly from the overall experience.

Many people don’t like the bed that you have to climb up to using a ladder, but I actually liked it. The only issue is that it’s dangerous to climb down to the first floor at night. There is an option to park near the building (free from 8 PM to 9 AM), and the area is relatively quiet. The apartment has a washing machine, a capsule coffee machine, a dishwasher, the necessary cutlery, and everything needed for cooking. However, there is no extractor hood.

Not the best place, fairly dirty.The apartment is quite small with poor internet (around 40 Mbps).A few minutes before check-out, a woman arrived expecting that no one would already be there. Also, the hot water runs out very quickly. I wasn’t able to take a shower because there was no hot water.

The room is very spacious and has enough space for your luggage and having a nice stay, even for a longer period of time. We liked that the beds were on the top floor, so we had our own private bedroom separated from the kitchen and living room space. Everything worked nicely. The bathroom is well equipped even with a washing machine. We had enough coffee and tea for our stay and all the kitchen appliances worked like a charm. Since I am quite tall, the dining room space was a bit small for me, but it's of course done for normal sized people :)

I can't say that there was anything that we didn't like. There was a small mistake in the access codes we received from the form and in the booking app, but that was resolved within seconds, so basically there's nothing bad to say about the accommodation.

Location

We were extremely disappointed with these apartments. The photos on Booking.com show a mix of different units within one listing, leading to misleading impressions. Our unit turned out to be small, with loft beds close to the ceiling. There wasn't any spare bedding for the small sofa downstairs. The apartment lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortably hot for sleeping. There was a cobweb on the ceiling, right above the sleeping area.
