About this house rental

Just steps from the beach, our home offers all the Charm of Victorian Cape May and all the Up to Date features of a new home.

Spread out on the large front porch and listen to the ocean while enjoying a beverage. Relax, you are at the beach! Our main goal is to provide an exceptionally clean, comfortable home for our family and guests to create lasting memories they will cherish a lifetime and I know “Porch Time” will be part of that.

Just inside the front door is a welcoming living room with clean lines and tranquil colors, gorgeous hardwood floors and high ceilings. Comfortable sofa’s and easy chairs provide ample room for the whole family to sit and talk or watch a ballgame on the 50” HGTV. There is also a large coffee table to enjoy spreading out for some fun without having to “Monopolize” the Dining Room. Our Dining Room has a huge table with seating for 16 comfortably.

The kitchen is well stocked with most everything you will need to cook for your family. We routinely have 16 to 20 for dinner and enjoy cooking for the whole crew. Off the kitchen is a 1st floor bedroom with a new Queen Bed. There is also a full bathroom with a shower on the 1st floor.

The second floor consists of 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The 1st Master Suite has a very comfortable King bed in a spacious room facing the ocean. You do have views of the ocean from this room. Just recently added is a Powder Room to maximize privacy. It doesn’t get much better than to fall asleep to the sound of the waves pounding the shore and the wind blowing the curtains. 2nd Master Suite too has a very comfortable King bed in a spacious room and also has views of the ocean from this room. This room is attached to a full bath with a Claw foot Tub/Shower. The 3rd bedroom is a very comfortable Queen bed with ample room and a relaxed décor. The 4th bedroom is a very pretty room with a comfortable double bed. Many of the bedrooms have the old transom window above the door that can be opened to maximize the great breeze while still keeping doors closed. Still on the 2nd floor is another full bathroom with newly renovated shower.

The 3rd floor consists of 2 bedrooms and a half bath. The front bedroom has spectacular views of the ocean and 1 single & 1 double bed and the bathroom. The back bedroom is very spacious with 2 single beds and a Double bed.

The house is fully equipped with Wi-Fi Internet, DVD, central air conditioning/heat.

Circa 1900 - Centrally located on quiet street in Historic District. Short stroll to beach, town, shopping, museums, amazing restaurants, and nightly entertainment.

RUN, don’t Walk to book this gem of a house in Cape May.Right from the beginning, the host, Brooks was ever present. The communication was always answered promptly with helpful suggestions what to do and see in Cape May. The handbook that accompanied the house, with precise instruction and information on all the appliances, was very helpful. The WIFI worked great, never an issue. All our needs have been anticipated. The kitchen appliances and utensils were abundant.Sharp Knives abound. Glasses of all sizes filled the cupboard. With over supply of plates, bowls, you name it, it was there. The fridge had plenty of room for our group of 11. We ate in every meal, that’s how good the kitchen was.We felt at home at this house. The dinning table easily seated all of us plus a few dinner visitors. The front porch was cozy and induced conviviality and conversations amongst us all. The beds were very comfy, with all recently remolded bathrooms and plenty of hot water. We had a great time with this house and would return in a flash. You can’t go wrong. It’s really the nicest VRBO we ever stayed in. Thank you Brooks, who by the way met and greeted us on our arrival.

This was a wonderful spot in which to enjoy a week in Cape May. The house was so comfortable for our family of nine (three generations). It was so great to be able to easily walk to the beach or into town. Just fantastic in every way!

We've stayed twice at this house (2021 and 2025) because the owners are easy to communicate with, the house is a great set up for a large group, beautiful neighborhood and the location is in walking distance of the beach and promenade (one block), Washington Street Mall, restaurants and so much more. Great place to walk the beach and catch a sunrise.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a wonderful, central location - very close to the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. The house was clean and well-maintained. Brooks was exceptionally responsive to us. We encountered a minor ant issue in the kitchen upon checking in (not uncommon in the area) but were able to clear it up quickly. Upon reaching out to Brooks about it, he was quick to reply with suggested remedies, offered to reimburse us for any money spent on to get rid of them, and offered pest control if the problem persisted (it did not). Check in and check out were very easy. We (and the dogs) loved the front porch. Lots of room to spread out. I would absolutely recommend this house.
