Hakone Mori No Yado

Hakone Mori No Yado was absolutely wonderful. The room was warm, comfortable and big. The private onsen was fabulous, as was the homecooked breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay here. There are restaurants close by, and Gora is a short walk or bus ride away. We would definitely stay again if ever we are back in Japan.

The atmosphere is incredibly warm and homey, and you can really feel the attention to even the smallest details. The private onsen is a true highlight—peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. The owner provides exceptional service and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and they were especially thoughtful in accommodating each of our children’s preferences, which meant a lot to us as a family. The bedding deserves a special mention—the blankets were unbelievably soft and cozy. There is also a free coffee corner, which was a lovely touch, and the location is fantastic, right by a bus stop, making it very convenient to get around. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this place, especially for families.

The room is a bit small and could use more space for hanging clothes, but aside from that, everything was perfect.

Very nice place, you get a 1-hour private onsen and the lady at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. I recommend!

We were given a double floor bedroom which was not appropriate as we are two elderly who had to climb up toour bed upstair as the steps were quite steep.

not many amenities in the area except for a veg rest and a small western eatery.
