Location is amazing, staff is very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was very tasty and balanced. Also the onsen is very good even tho relatively small.
Would have appreciated a washer/dryer considering the heavy rain, but I didn't ruin the stay for sure.

Quite far, but riding the bus is entertaining and a fun part of the experience.

Hakone Mori No Yado was absolutely wonderful. The room was warm, comfortable and big. The private onsen was fabulous, as was the homecooked breakfast. We absolutely loved our stay here. There are restaurants close by, and Gora is a short walk or bus ride away. We would definitely stay again if ever we are back in Japan.

We were given a double floor bedroom which was not appropriate as we are two elderly who had to climb up toour bed upstair as the steps were quite steep.
not many amenities in the area except for a veg rest and a small western eatery.
