    My stay at Nol Hakone Myojindai was wonderful. The hotel is surrounded by a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and escape from the busy city. The food was delicious, with every meal beautifully prepared and full of flavor. One of the best parts of the stay was the private onsen in the room. I absolutely loved being able to enjoy a hot bath whenever I wanted while taking in the tranquil surroundings. Everything about the experience felt calming and rejuvenating. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in Hakone with great food and a beautiful in-room onsen, I highly recommend Nol Hakone Myojindai.

    The hotel is so so nice, its meant to be for couple who wants to get away. Super recommended, in love with it. Its just a bit far from everywhere.

    Love this type of outdoor bath (facing woods for ultimate privacy and peace). This hotel is up in the Hakone mountains so the drive is a bit longer than some other hotels but makes it super quiet and a great healing getaway. Thermal pool was fantastic and public Onsen was well maintained, a bit small, but totally comfortable. Breakfast was standard Japanese hotel breakfast but always hits the spot anyway. Staff super friendly and willing to interact with guests on a personal level.

    How do I explain this? No one greeted us on arrival. No one was at reception upon check in. Almost non-existent hospitality. When we asked if we could order lunch or room service they said they only do breakfast and dinner, and I could walk down the mountain to 7-11 for food. Thanks for that. Onsen is also closed during lunch hours and reopens later in the evening. So if you are planning to stay for a while be prepared to do nothing, walk to nothing. Shops are a cab ride away. Redeeming features are the decor, the Onsen, and the breakfast as nice quality options. They charged us extra for checking in a little earlier than 3. Walks are so thin in rooms you can hear next room. Would not go back.
