Good comfort but bot all rooms have access to the same facilities

The common areas are clean and have everything you need. The rooms are modern and with contemporary design. The self check-in is a great option

The rooms are rather small. The view/garden from the photos is not available to all guests. Our room was facing the car park and consequently was experiencing the noise of all the cars arriving. Not great for a family with a 2year old. There is no view to the lake Bodensee since the location is quite far away from the lake's shores.

Bad

What the worst hotel that I have experienced. There's no reception. For the check in, I have to go to other hotel far from about 1km. They didn't give the room that they show. there are so many diffenrent things that they described in booking.com

Beautiful, but stock up before going

The automatic check in was super quick and straight forward. Our questions were quickly responded through the app (English and German), the bike storage room is under roof and secured, and the neighborhood is super quiet and beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, modern and super equiped, very good appliances and construction materials. We couldn't help to feel that it was suitable for long stays and not just a quick getaway, it had everything one would need and more.

There aren't options around to buy groceries and procuring them on the Swiss side is very expensive that, added to the apartment rent price, specially considering that the apartment doesn't have a particularly good view (at least ours, was facing the back of a building), are the only things I could complain about, our stay was quiet and uneventful, we rested a lot and relaxed hearing nothing but birds.

New, clean and modern building - groundfloor room offers a really poor experience.

Clean rooms, kind staff.

The beautiful garden side room view photos can be misleading. We were unlucky enough to get one of the ground floor rooms with a view to the parking lot, which meant no privacy and quite some noise especially in the morning hours. Price was unreasonable for such a compromised situation and a self-service accommodation.

Great apartment with good equipment

Very well equipped apartment, with a fully furnished kitchen separated from the bedroom. Everything looked new, the bed was comfortable and we had the possibility to park our car easily. We liked the easy check in procedure with a machine. The area was quiet at night, and the lake is reachable on foot.

Great self-catering addition to the fabulous Hirschen gastronomy

Amazing self-catering apartments as part of the fabulous family run Hirschen hotel and gastronomy offering, with their fantastic restaurants nearby. Their customer focus is superb. The rooms have very high quality fittings, include a kitchenette, and there are also shared laundry facilities and a large kitchen for cooking. The best are the beds, with probably the most comfortable mattress I have slept on in a long time!

The Boardinghouse is an 8 minute walk uphill from the bus stop, which is just outside the main hotel and restaurant, so the Boardinghouse may better suit motorised travellers, especially if also self-catering, as there are no grocery stores nearby. I was staying for one night, and the hotelier kindly gave me a lift, as I had a bit of luggage, so for me there was nothing not to like.

Great stay near Bodensee

Due to our work we had to stay for 3 nights at Bodensee. This location was in a quiet area. The place is quite nice designed. It was also very clean. Totally recommend.

Due to Covid 19 measures we haven’t had any staff interaction.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Die Wohnung im Grünen und das es Verdunklungsvorhänge im Schlafzimmer hatte. Insgesamt sehr gemütlich.

Das Aussenlicht beim Hinuntergehen auf der Treppe vom 2. Stock kam viel zu spät und war etwas schwach....Ist nicht als Kritik sondern als Verbesserungsvorschlag gedacht...

Wunderschönes, perfekt ausgestattetes Appartement in sehr guter Lage

Ganz wunderbares Appartement, modern, sehr gemütlich und komfortabel. Schöner Parkettboden, geschmackvolle Möbel. Alles da was man braucht inkl. Kaffeepads . Bequemes Bett, gute Dusche, sehr schöne Terrasse zum Apfelgarten. Und eine Super- Lage zum Wandern und Radfahren ( Fahrradunterstand vorhanden, abgeschlossen) Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder! Check in am Automaten, aber unkompliziert , daneben hängt ein Telefon, wo man b.Bed. Sofort die Rezeption vom dazugehörenden Restaurant „ zum Hirschen“ dran hat. Im Hirschen gibt es übrigens ganz hervorragendes Essen.

Dazu fällt mir absolut Nichts ein.

Preis für Hund pro Tag zu teuer. Treppe nach oben schwierig. Die Lage ist okay, aber der Preis könnte günstiger sein dafür, denn ist ja eher etwas abgelegen. Mobiles Netz nicht verfügbar.

Toller Fahrradabstellraum, modernes Zimmer mit modernem Bad und Einrichtung. Boardinghouse in ländlicher Lage.

Parkplätze direkt vor unserem Zimmerfenster. Leute reisten um 5 Uhr morgens ab und ließen ewig den Motor laufen und quatschten laut. Die Ausgangstür war sehr laut, wenn sie ins Schloss fiel. Leider bekommt man, wenn man als Geniusteilnehmer von booking.com bucht, in Hotels immer nur die schlechtesten Zimmer! Die Kopfkissen sind sehr dünn und könnten mal ersetzt werden.... Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten am Standort, um sich in der schönen Küche im boardinghouse was zuzubereiten. Ein Automat wäre nicht schlecht!

Sehr modernes, sauberes Gebäude, Fahrradraum, total praktischer Aufenthaltsraum mit allem was man braucht, freundlicher Service, sehr schönes Zimmer

Leider nur ein Duschvorhang der unten das Wasser durchlässt statt eine Duschkabine. Und nach einer langen Radtour ist das Hotel anstrengend weit oben auf dem Hügel, aber beides ist jammern auf hohem Niveau

Alles in Allem war es OK / Gut.

Das Apartment war gross genug für 3 Leute u. Hund. Das Bad war gut und es hat nichts gefehlt dort. Küche war auch gross genug. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit. Der Check-IN problemlos. Liegt super am Feld zum Gassigehen mit Hund.

Im oberen Stock war es noch staubig im Schrank u. den Regalen. In der Küche haben ein paar Kleinigkeiten gefehlt an Utensilien. Man sollte viell. die Abtrennungen zu den anderen Balkonen tiefer setzen, da so wie jetzt ein Hund unten durchkommt und auch die Balkongeländer sind nicht wirklich Hundekonform.
