despite the poor1st impression of hotel being shut and no booking in details , it was pleasant

the room is comfy enough .the location close to the lake which is great. the breakfast was minimal but nice and free to those who stay the night and unlimited. The staff were friendly and helped us as we do not speak any German. cleanliness was a solid 9 out of 10. restaurant food tasty and large portions.

we had no details sent for a key on our 1st night of 3 night stay , we had booked but details were not sent to us and the hotel was shut on the Wednesday night when we arrived, we had to make emergency arrangements. ( this was not a great 1st impression) The toilet seat was lose and being situated under a slanting roof in bathroom made it slightly awkward to use for a larger person. The hairdryer didn't work and showed sighs of damage. There could have been a better selection of teas and coffees. in the room.

good and reasonably priced for an overnight stay

It was clean, reasonably priced, good location, just a short walk to the lake and ferry terminal, friendly staff, great traditional restaurant, fresh fruit was a plus at the breakfast buffet.

it’s on the main road, traffic could be heard day and night. The rooms get pretty hot in summer, a ceiling fan would be nice.

Good stay by the lake

Great place by the lake, authentic building, friendly people, nice dinner and breakfast. Overall enjoyable experience. The room is roomy and the bed is comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful, but with quite limited English-speaking skills. Our minimal German knowledge helped a bit, but we obviously didn't have any complex issues to talk about.

Cute little room, but comfortably and has everything

Great room, even had a private shower and sink which i didn't expect. Room also had a small ventilator and an insect net in front of the window, which was highly appreciated 😅

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, although staff was helpful, but I would have expected a bit more. Wifi also was pretty broken.. the guest network didn't work at all, the other one only worked on my notebook. Until i discovered that dhcp only assigned IPv6 addresses. After some Googling i found the correct IPv4 addresses to statically configure, which made it possible to connect to wifi from my phone as well.

Staff friendly, sanitation clean, easy to find, the only one in area in budget and on Booking.com, all other nicer places, of which many not online for booking.

Water not flushing in shower and lavatory, linens cheap elastic synthetic, TV still on analog since 2016, which leaves you with 4 German channels. Breakfast good but very simple. No eggs, salads etc.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit tollem Frühstück, gemütlichem Zimmer und hervorragendem Preis-Lei

Ich war rundum zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und mit einer Dusche ausgestattet. Die Dachluke hat sogar ein Fliegengitter. Das Frühstück war lecker, besonders der frische Obstsalat und das Rührei mit Speck. Praktisch ist auch, dass man für den Seiteneingang einen eigenen Schlüssel bekommt. Für Fahrräder steht eine sichere Garage zur Verfügung. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Für eine Nacht gut .

Der Balkon unter dem Dach war sehr windgeschützt und und wir konnten sogar bei Regen draussen sitzen. Grosses Zimmer und neues Bad . Das Restaurant mit gut bürgerlichen Küche im Haus .

Zu weiche Matratzen , das Frühstück ist nicht sehr abwechslungsreich und nur helle Luft Brötchen.

Das Hotel kann man weiterempfehlen,

Es gab jeden Morgen frisches, geschnittenes Obst, das fand ich toll. Leider gab es keine Vollkornbrötchen. Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr gut, es liegt zwar an der Straße, wir hatten ein Zimmer, das nicht zur Straße lag, es war sehr ruhig.

Ok für unseren Aufenthalt aber empfehlen tun wir es nicht

Das Zimmer war sauber. Wurde aber nicht gemacht bei 2Nächte Aufenthalt. War auch egal.

Beim Salat musste ich zuerst das Fingerpflaster das am Tellerrand klebte entfernen😞 Für den Rotwein bat ich um Eiswürfel. Es waren nicht nur Eiswürfel sondern noch Klebstreifen dabei. Der Koch/Chef bediente und zum Frühstück mit „weissen“ Hosen die wohl seit 10 Tagen getragen und nicht gewaschen wurden. Sehr unschön.

Das Gasthaus zur Alten Post hat einen sehr charmanten und authentischen Charakter. Die Zimmer waren sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage und das freundliche, hilfsbereites Personal. Auch das Frühstück war lecker.

Es gab eigentlich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

Immer wieder gern!

Über Weihnachten habe ich (w) meine Familie besucht und 2 Nächte im Gasthof übernachtet. Ich hatte einen kleinen Hund mit, der sehr nett aufgenommen wurde. Die Wirtin war sehr nett und bemüht, es uns angenehm zu machen und eine familiäre Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, meines war mit Balkon, sauber und gut ausgestattet, das Bett bequem. Nachteile waren: es dauerte sehr lange bis Warmwasser aus der Leitung kam und es war nachts etwas kalt. Mit einer weiteren Decke war's aber ok. Meine Familie ( mit Kleinkind) hatte ich 2x zum Frühstück in den Gasthof eingeladen, was ohne Probleme gegen Aufpreis möglich war, das Frühstück war reichlich und abwechslungsreich. Ich kann das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Also... Der "nette, ältere" Herr im Service war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Als ich kurz ins Zimmer ging, um mich frisch zu machen, fragte er meine Begleitung aus. So unteranderem, ob wir es heute Nacht gut haben werden, was wir noch vor hatten - aber natürlich auf die Übernachtung bezogen. Es war krass. Ja, wir waren nicht verheiratet und wollten uns kennenlernen. Aber beide Single. Was mich jedoch noch zusätzlich störte, wir wollten gemütlich in das Stübchen. Dort war es gemütlicher, und hatte vier Zweiertische. Er lehnte es ab, weil wir nur zu zweit seien. Dafür konnten wir neben der Kasse Platz nehmen. Ca. halben Meter von ihm entfernt. SEHR UNGEMÜTLICH UND FÜHLTEN UNS BEOBACHTET. Würde ich für ein Pärchen unbedingt nicht empfehlen. Küche hervorragend. Die Dame, welche mir das Zimmer zeigte, SEHR FREUNDLICH !! Danke.
