Enjoy the gorgeous views and luxurious comfort of our newly renovated condo located an easy 2 min walk to the warm sand of one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. Include in our quoted rate is our concierge - Jennifer that can assist with car rental, which we highly recommend our guest to use, she will secure the car that you want at an discounted rate and have it waiting for you at the airport, so as soon as you clear customs, your vehicle is waiting for you, you don't have to wait for a shuttle bus and then wait in line to get your car, while others are waiting... you and your family are driving to El Cubil and then walking over to the beach. :-) In addition- Jennifer can help you plan and book as many activates that you would like.... tours, diving, atv, spa treatments, sailing, fishing, volcano tours, your own personal chef, and much more.

Only 16 miles and less than 30 minutes from Liberia Airport, Playa Hermosa lies directly in the heart of the Costa Rican coastline and the bountiful beauty this country has to offer. Villa Tortuga is a Triplex unit designed with an open floor plan.
On the first level the living and dining area windows open wide to enjoy the ocean breeze while hosting a meal for 10 at the harvest table. There is a 64 inch flat panel smart TV in the room so all can share in a movie or sporting event. The newly installed gourmet kitchen is fully equipped featuring upgraded stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island with bar stools. Also on this level is a laundry room, a half bath, and a unique Shoji room to be used as an office or bedroom area for your guests.
The second level has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen smart TV, vaulted ceilings, and expansive windows that open to the ocean. A walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with double sinks and large shower complete the master suite. The second bedroom is light filled with a queen bed, large windows, beautiful built in wood furniture and it's own flat screen smart TV. The third bedroom is quiet and serene with a queen bed, generous closet and lots of privacy.
At the top of the dramatic architectural stairway, the third level opens to a stunning terrace and wet bar. Soak up the sunshine, enjoy an evening drink, or perhaps practice yoga on the beautiful 550 sq ft private terrace.
Villa Tortuga can comfortably sleep 7 including the pull-out sofa in the Shoji room. The laundry room, AC thru out, Cable TV and internet are a few of the key comforts of home included at Villa Tortuga.

Interaction with guests
Once guest is checked into the home by the dedicated House Manager, interaction will be limited to 2x week pool cleanings and a check up from the dedicated House Manager to ensure your vacation is on track. However, we are available 24/7 if emergencies should occur.

The place was well-kept and perfect for our family. They had everything we needed to make our meals, but we enjoyed the Tico food, too! There were plenty of pool & a couple beach towels for us to use. The laundry room was a necessity, as we could drop our sandy things in there to clean. Bathrooms were great (no bidet tho) and the bedrooms were perfect. Did I mention the beds were heavenly?! We slept like babies! Jennifer, our on-site contact, was warm & welcoming & able to answer questions, book excursions - anything we needed she was a text/ phone call away & very prompt with responses. Thank you for the wonderful memories we made in your beautiful country! Pura Vida!

We loved our stay at El Cubil. It was conveniently located to the beach. On our first walk to the beach, we saw 6 monkeys in a tree! Our biggest disappointment was that the hot tub was not working properly. The pool water was cool so the hot tub would have felt great. Jennifer answered all of our questions. And that 3rd floor terrace - so nice! We spent most of our time up there. The condo supplied everything we needed for a wonderful, memorable weekend. We would definitely return to El Cubil!

I had a wonderful relaxing, romantic, nature filled get away week in a place Ive always wanted to visit, Playa Hermosa in Costa Rica. The owner of this delightful property clearly cares about making every detail of your holiday perfect! From the moment I arrived, the VIP concierge service arranged everything from transportation to and from the airport, to getting groceries along the way, to recommending the best local cuisine, to trips into Coast Ricas rain forest to Zip Line through the Jungle, to an afternoon sunset sail to snorkel and explore nearby deserted beaches where monkeys roamed wild. Theres so much to do, I want to go back to experience it all again...of course theres always an option to stay put and swim, read, or take a jacuzzi on the first floor patio of the complex.The duplex has all modern amenities. Its impeccably clean. The space has a great flow, shoji screens to divide spaces for privacy, a wide open living room / kitchen and bedrooms with large flatscreen TVs for family and friends to congregate, with a fantastic view of the mountains and the sea beyond.Lastly, compared to other 5 star places Ive rented, the owner has amassed an amazing art collection from artists who live in the Central American region. This touch, makes for great ambience. In addition, the place is filled with handcrafted furniture made by a local artisans.The beach is only a 5 minute walk down the road. If your lucky, youll be able to see or hear monkeys along the way. Along the beachfront, youll find amazing ocean front restaurants which serve locally caught fish, experience delightful blue waters to swim in, and take in vistas of the mountains beyond. Lastly, I have to say Ive travelled the world over, and I can honestly say Ive never met a more friendly people...the Costa Rican people are inviting and gracious, and exude happiness. Take all of these ingredients combined, and you have the makings of an amazing holiday getaway!!!Scott
