Superb location. Superb interior design. Lovely touches. Rennes is a must visit.

Being 6 foot 3 I banged my head a few times on the beams and doorways but it didn't detract from a great place and stay.

If I had been a couple, the bed was on the petite side, but still ok. Terrible smell in the stairwell but it’s a historic building.

Historically amazing but only if you are fit enough

Fantastic location is the nicest part of the old town. Quirky apartment which I loved more than my wife. Too rickety for her. Text message from host gave very clear instructions and the apartment had everything we needed for a night stay.

The stairwell is challenging. Fortunately we left our luggage in the car. Not sure I would have managed to get it to the room. You need to be in good health for this property.

Everything! The location was so good! In the middle of the old town 2/3 minutes away from the shopping streets with restaurants outside the door The apartment was so pretty, the decor, style, everything

That we could only stay one night Access isn’t so easy, two floors up on very steep winding steps, it would not suit a person with mobility issues or sensitive knees as walking down was also not so easy

very convenient to discover Rennes but you need to be thin and fit to access the apartment.

it’s central location

don’t book this apartment if you can’t do stairs and worry about fire exits. It is on third floor up a very narrow and steep staircase. the shower facilities were up another spiral staircase and has a very low ceiling. no sign of any fire exit in a very old building.

Cool apartment, great location

Just as the photos and description, lovely quirky apartment in the heart of old Rennes. Not for those with poor mobility, and you will bang your head. Really quiet location, no noise from neighbours at all during our stay. Clean and tastefully decorated.

Kitchen equipment (no oven) and utensils a bit lacking. Bed a bit soft for me, but slept great nevertheless.

Fantastic little find in the old part of Rennes

Excellent location. Very central on a beautiful medieval street with lots of lovely restaurants yet quiet in the apartment. Very clean, plenty of space and beautifully presented yet quirky. Great place to stay for somewhere a bit different and close to everything. All walkable. Comfy bed and host Francoise is really friendly. Lovely little touches in the apartment.

Nothing we didn't like just things to be aware of as other reviews have pointed out. Noise of pigeons in the morning but didn't bother us. Hot in apartment in summer but fans were provided. Winding staircase and low ceilings and floors not even. Again not a problem for us but people need to be aware if this doesn't suit you.

Adorable place in the center of Rennes, but not for people with limited mobility

Super well located, and very cute! This place is no more than a 15 minute walk from pretty much anything in Rennes, 25-minute walk from the train station. The bed is comfortable, the shower is nice.

THIS IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY! You have to climb up some uneven stairs to even get to the apartment, and, within the apartment, nothing is quite straight. It's quite charming and quaint, and I really enjoyed it. However, it would be an absolute nightmare to navigate if you've got knee, hip, or back issues

Excellent location in centre of old town. Lovely quirky apartment on second floor. Everything provided for our stay - wish we could have stayed more than one night! Particularly appreciated the coffee and tea selection, and the madeleines for breakfast.

There was no breakfast but it wasn’t part of the deal. Coffee and tea were provided.

We are retired and pretty fit but carrying bags up an uneven spiral staircase was a challenge and access to the shower was designed for someone below average height

An amazingly quirky place to stay! A little gem perfectly located in the medieval part of Rennes. Right amongst all the restaurants and gorgeous buildings. All renovated to a high standard.
