Albina apartment

The location was perfect. 5min walk from the bus/train station and from a couple of shops, and within 15mins from the city centre. The apartment itself was very good and had all the basics. It was very clean. I had one issue which was resolved very quickly. I was very happy with my choice! FYI no TV in bedroom anymore (not an issue for me). Bed was comfortable and bedroom relatively quiet.

The loud bathroom by the bedroom, although there is an apology for that! And I would have liked a second lock on the front door to feel a little safer at night, as it is directly to the street.

The apartment was very clean and is located halfway between the train station and the city centre. The bedroom is on a sub-level, which is where our kids slept. We slept upstairs (ground level) on the couch, which isn't as comfortable as the bed downstairs. Both floors have a toilet, which is very handy. We were in Ljubljana during a heatwave and were very grateful for the air condition, which works perfectly. If you are light-sensitive, take a sleeping mask with you, as the whole front of the living room is frosted glass and the blinds don't darken the room much.

The couch wasn't particularly comfortable to sleep on.

This place is a bit kooky but it was quiet and relaxing. Short walk into the old town area and it was a nice treat to have 2 toilets! Basement bedroom was strange but actually very nice - cool, dark and quiet for sleeping.

I read a lot of negative reviews on the basement toilet - they have a sign on it now and it only makes the noise right when you flush, very briefly. It’s not making it all night so it was not a big deal at all!

Good amenities. Great setup and location

Strong Sewage smell from drains and no laundry detergent.
