This place is a bit kooky but it was quiet and relaxing. Short walk into the old town area and it was a nice treat to have 2 toilets! Basement bedroom was strange but actually very nice - cool, dark and quiet for sleeping.
I read a lot of negative reviews on the basement toilet - they have a sign on it now and it only makes the noise right when you flush, very briefly. It’s not making it all night so it was not a big deal at all!

Very clean and ideally located apartment. Walking distance to the train and bus station. The city centre is also on walking distance, including the Ljubljana Castle. The main highlight was that the host allowed us for early check-in since our train was arriving around 9am in Ljubljana.
The spiral steps going down the bedroom was a bit scary. I was only going down to the bedroom at night and the next morning, will collect all my belongings upstairs, just to avoid taking the stairs multiple time per day.

Ground floor entrance.
Apartment was very warm.
Close to restaurants and supermarkets.
Short walk to old town area.
Fantastic to have 2 toilets.
Not a fan of the basement bedroom.
