Sapa Hmong Bungalow Homestay

This was my absolute favorite stay since being in Vietnam. The family owners are so sweet and adorable and made us feel right at home. They were ready to help at the drop of a hat. Due to the location, the view was unreal but the rooms are also huge and spotless. Will definitely return in the future and I recommend staying here to anyone that plans to visit Sapa. It was also very affordable so I was more then happy to pay for every penny!

Staying with a local family in Sapa was one of the best experiences we had in Vietnam! The homestay is in a stunning location, away from the busy town center and surrounded by rice fields. We highly recommend staying in this area for a more authentic experience. The entire family was kind, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and we also loved sharing a traditional dinner with them. A special thanks to Cang, the owner’s son, who was a fantastic guide! We did both a hike and a scooter tour with him, and they were highlights of our trip. If you’re comfortable riding a scooter, we absolutely recommend this experience!

The Homestay has a beautiful view into the rice fields and is super peaceful. The rooms are gorgeous and super spacious. We also loved the shared dinner in the evening and could ask a lot of questions about the culture and local villages. The whole family is super nice and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay here!!

Really enjoyed the trekking (highly recommend the longer one in the valley), worth it for the off-the-beaten-path experience, we got to see Hmong villages and trek down rice terraces, even swim in a mountain creek. Dinner with the family was wonderful, they made special effort to make it vegetarian-friendly. Be sure to bring cash to pay for your booking (they do not accept card!), and extra for the trekking and additional experiences, as there is no ATM in Ta Van village and the nearest is 30 minutes in Sapa central. The owner even took me down on his motorbike the last day which was really kind of him. Very comfortable and safe for a solo female traveler. Will book this again if I am ever back in Sapa. Thank you!

WIFI is a little spotty/weak in the room, not sure if it was just my room, but often it did not connect at all.
