Nous n’étions qu’à côté de la chambre de mes parents mais l’isolation phonique est très mauvaise Les repas proposés sont très bons mais assez cher et nous avons attendu longtemps pour manger J’avais prévenu l’hôte que nous arrivons à 5h00 du matin elle m’avait dit que cela ne posait aucun soucis mais personne à la réception le jour de notre arrivée et aucun moyen de les joindre car ils ne sont pas disponible sur WhatsApp Une dame dans la rue m’a aidé à joindre l’hôte qui est venu nous ouvrir par la suite

Room 2: The room is simple but adequate. However the real asset of the place is the host family. Huong, the young woman who runs the place, is a real character. Lovely, intelligent and with a quite special sense of humor. She organized my shuttle from her homestay to a junction from where I boarded a sleeper bus to Ha Giang. She rented out a scooter to explore the mountain roads and she even explained what I had photographed at the market. Her husband is also a sweet and quiet man who plays many different types of flutes really well. I was really impressed by the peace and quiet that prevailed at the homestay. I enjoyed breakfast with fresh fruit, bread, pancakes and eggs that were exactly prepared how I wanted them. 🙂 I enjoyed staying there so I added one day and I ate most of my meals at the homestay. I also had the chance to play with the daughter of the hosts and her friend. All of this made my interaction with the host family much more intimate and fun than usually in Vietnam. I was also impressed by the beautiful tune Huong played on a flute when I left her place. Overall it was a great and special time for me.

Room 2 : The room is simple but adequate. However it is adjacent to the room where the host family lives. Although they are a very silent family you can still hear everything as there is zero sound isolation. The only real noise was from the school next door and from a sports ground. There was also construction noise from nearby but that was temporary.
