Ha Giang Faithien Homestay

This is undoubtedly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve been traveling for over a decade! It’s a little piece of heaven, nestled in stunning nature, yet conveniently close to the town. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and I always felt so loved and cared for. Angh, his niece, and little Bin are some of the most genuine and kind-hearted people I’ve met. I ended up staying for a full week, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I met some amazing people during my time here, and we shared several fantastic dinners, all thanks to Angh’s warm hospitality and generosity. Food always was super fresh and delicious and we had a lot of fun! I enjoyed so much tasty pancakes for the breakfast! The bungalows are built with natural materials and offer breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding forest. They are clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind, with hammocks on the balcony. I already miss them all and would love to return someday. Thank you so much, dear people! You will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Communication with the Homestay was seamless and appreciated they were able to check us in late. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed! They also let us do laundry there for free so that was a HUGE plus and the meals were delightful.

A truly beautiful place. The main house is lovely, entirely made of wood, with simple and comfortable rooms that immediately create a feeling of peace and authenticity. Next to it, there are charming wooden bungalows with air conditioning and a beautiful view of the river 🌊. Every evening, we loved watching the children swimming and playing in the water, a joyful and authentic local moment that made our stay very special. There is also a small natural stone swimming pool filled with fresh river water. It is a real pleasure to cool off there after a day of exploring ☀️ On my first day, I rode a scooter around the Ha Giang loop 🛵, which was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Coming back to the homestay afterwards truly felt like coming home 🏡 But the real treasure of this place is the family ❤️ Their welcome is absolutely exceptional. We were invited to share meals, received thoughtful gestures and food from time to time, and always felt genuinely cared for. They would have given us everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. When you leave, it truly feels like saying goodbye to friends. I had a special soft spot for their little girl 👧. She is absolutely lovely, and if I could have adopted her, she would have been my adopted daughter. The WiFi was excellent 📶, filtered water was always available 💧, and everything is arranged with generosity and simplicity. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.
