Huy Trung Homestay

The room is spacious and spotless. The garden in the back is lovely! Huy speaks English very well and was always attentive and available to answer questions. He took us for a tour into the mountains for lunch with a hill tribe family. The highlight of our stay was when he took us to the local high school to talk to the student about Canada! Highly recommend this home stay!

Exceptional stay with loving attention to every detail. Pick up and transfer to the home stay. Warm welcome with tea and fruit and a tour of the beautiful place he has designed himself. My room was sparkling clean with a view to the peaceful garden. It was spacious with a comfortable mattress and extra pillows. I slept extremely well. A kettle was available and the shower was strong and warm all day. Breakfast and dinner with the family were unique experiences as was the day tour to the villages that I did with Huy Trung which was the most authentic experience of my month long travel in Vietnam. Strongly recommended!!!

I should have stayed more days!!

Nice location on the edge of Bac Ha town, very spacious, comfortable, clean and well designed room. Peaceful and quiet property with nice garden and there is a small pool which was nice to cool off at the end of the day. Bac Ha is a quiet town best known for its Sunday market, but following Mr Huy Trung’s recommendations we also went to the buffalo market on Saturday morning and the horse racing at Bac Ha stadium on Saturday afternoon. This is a weekly event with local people riding bareback and was really interesting and fun to watch. It doesn’t feature in many guides but is well worth a visit! Mr Huy Trung was very welcoming and knowledgeable and we did one of his self guided hikes in the mountains which are beautiful and you can walk directly from the property. We also had an excellent home cooked meal the night we arrived.

One of the best homestays I've ever experienced. Mr Trung made me feel completely at home. Enjoyed a fantastic meal with his friends and family and You'll not get a better experience. My only regret is that i had to move on and not take up one of his tours of local ethnic tribes.
