Great room with good facilities, nice touch with fridge and water and fresh milk, bathroom spotless with a good shower. Great location with very friendly staff, we ate in the restaurant in the evening and i would say that the food was the best i have ever had, great ribs, Starters was liver pate which was really good.
The bed let the room down with a very noisy mattress and could do with replacing, bed creaks a lot. Entrance via steep stairs as a challenge.

Very welcoming pub accommodation. The room was dog friendly, even including a huge dog bed and bowls. We had lunch before checking in. Food was good and service relaxed and cheerful. Our server brought our cockapoo a bowl of iced water while we ate which was observant and helpful of her. Our stay was during the June heatwave and we enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden with a pint.
No real down side.
