Spacious Confortable Apartament close to Beach and Pintxos Area

Great location in town, spacious, friendly welcome,

Noisy at night with the windows open as due to the excellent location you are in town so should expect that - but noise is fine if you bring ear plugs !

Excellent location, well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms.

Bath towels smell bad and need to be replaced. Washing the towels didn’t get rid of the smell. Also the sofa needs to be replaced as it feels grubby and the cushions sag.

We were three people on this trip, traveling with our adult son. We used both bedrooms and they were comfortable, had plenty of space to hang clothes, and we could keep the bedrooms relatively cool by closing the blinds when the sun was out, and opening the windows and using the fans at night, each bedroom has a fan. You can also open the windows in the kitchen (which looks out onto the inner courtyard), so you can cross-ventilate. Having the washing machine was great too! You hear the bars downstairs a bit when you have the windows open, but it's just the sounds of people talking, no buses or loud music at all in this street. Very easy communication with the host, we let him know what time we were going to arrive (on the bus from Bilboa) and he was waiting for us in front of the apartment, he gave us a tour of the apartment and very clear instructions. He also immediately sent us excellent restaurant recommendations. Way beyond what we expected. The wifi works like a dream. The kitchen is very well equipped, even had a juicer, an immersion blender, and a salad spinner in addition to all the usual things. The neighborhood of Gros is lovely, not as crazy touristy as the old town, lots of fantastic places to eat at very short walkign distance, and easy walking distance to the bus station. If you travel with young children and want to go to the beach often be aware that you have a 10-15 min walk to the safe swimming beach. The closest beach to the apartment is great for walking and people watching, but it's a surfer's beach and not safe for swimming because of the waves.

Very minor issues: We missed bowls in the kitchen for eating cereal or snacks, but using the deep plates worked fine too. The kitchen could use a paring knife for peeling fruit, but really not a big deal.

Todo súper limpio y bien conservado. Las camas y almohadas muy cómodas y la ubicación excelente. Muy cerca de la playa de Zurriola y a un paseo de 15 min de la playa debla Concha. Había algo de ruido pero con tapones perfecto y tampoco me pareció que hasta demasiado tarde. Bitor muy disponible ante cualquier pregunta. Volvería sin dudarlo.

En realidad nada. Por decir una tontería, la bañera escurre un poco y pondría una alfombra antideslizante. También algún vaso o cubierto más pero es una pequeña crítica constructiva porque todo estaba muy bien.
