Apartamento Urumea by SanSe Holidays

It was an old building with loads of characters. I’m guessing 1920’ or 30’s but i could be wrong. It was in a busteling ares with bars, bakeries, mini markets below, and it was only one street and a bridge from the old town. In fact we walked everywhere from here, the beach, old town, Jesus monument, and to the funicular and the old fun park on top. There was no air con, and it was a real heatwave, but the owner had provided a big fan, which helped. The facilities were good, oven, combination microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, which we needed, having been traveling for some time.

Being critical, we specifically wanted a balcony, but it just looked into the internal block, with air on units and kitchen extractors so we didn’t use it. We did a wash and after leaving clothes and towels on the balcony, had to do it again, as everything had a food smell. The Tv was old, and not a smart tv, so we watched things on our own devices. I did report problems to the WhatsApp that sent me all of the access info, but it turned out to be a BOT, and I don’t know if the owner received my messages. So being honest, it needs a bit of tlc. Nothing on our info told us the flat number. Luckily a resident thought he knew which one it might be. 1A. The fridge freezer was frosting over at the back of the fridge, meaning the thermostat was broken. There had been a leak on a radiator and the bathroom door had swollen, so it didn’t open fully. The key fob auto open did not work, but the code and the web method did, only half of the sockets were live, so every time we plugged something in it was hit or miss if it worked. I could go on, but ultimately we had a great time. I know the problems people have maintaining these places, and ultimately, I would book again

Location is very convenient to the old town as well as other areas of the city centre.

La zona es muy buena y justo detrás hay un parking y la Zurriola, el casco viejo a 5 minutos, la concha al lado, la ubicacion es muy buena

Faltaba mucho menaje de cocina y había interruptores rotos

La ubicación es inmejorable.

Está bien, pero hay varios puntos negativos. El ruido del piso de arriba. Se oyen todos los pasos, sobre todo de niños corriendo temprano, luego hay cosas que no funcionan. Enchufes sueltos, la ducha sale todo el agua, el baño es muy pequeño. Estaría muy bien, teniendo en cuenta el clima de Donosti, facilitar un paraguas ( aunque sea con fianza)
