Amazing view

The apartment is situated right on the beach with several restaurants nearby. The view was amazing from the balcony.

GOOD LOCATION FOR A PERFECT RELAXING HOLIDAY

The location was perfect & the view from the apartment really amazing. The studio was well equipped with everything one could want. Plenty of mirrors, cupboards, lighting and even loads of coat hangers. The studio apartment was very clean and the double bed very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool which I enjoyed most days and the area surrounding the apartment is very quiet and clean (no litter), no disco's or night clubs, just some good restaurants, in particular, a good Indian restaurant across the road. I have had a very quiet, relaxing holiday and that's what I needed.

Taxi driver couldn't find the apartment. And it was a lot of messing about to get to the apartment. Keys being somewhere else.

Best view, but disappointing stay

Incredible view. Even in December, the weather is nice and sunny, and you get to have the best view in Mijas. The apartment has a shared pool and elevator, which is helpful and a plus. If you're there by car, you can get quickly to Marbella or Málaga within 30 minutes. Mijas is very calm, so you'll be glad to find a handful of restaurants, grocery stores, a gym, and even a bus line close by.

The apartment wasn't very clean when I arrived. Bed sheets, duvet, and pillows had stains and smelled dusty. I brought everything to the laundry at 2km distance. The walls are super thin, so you can hear all your noisy neighbors shout at each other when you're tired and go to bed. The shower drain was blocked/slow, and since it doesn't have a step or cabindoor to block the water from leaving the bathroom, the whole entrance was flooded when showering for more than 5 minutes. I had to buy products to improve the draining tube to avoid flooding the apartment every time I showered. But this damages wooden surfaces in that area dramatically. If you're there without a car, the connection by bus takes you 2 hours to Malaga and 1 hour to Marbella. Besides a few restaurants, there's not much around in Mijas. It was kind of expensive to get from Málaga Airport to Marbella to pick up the keys and then drive back by taxi because the building is somewhere else in Mijas. It cost me 75€ to drive around for the keys. If you're not renting/bringing a car, it's kind of expensive. For what it turned out to be in the end, I'm not really happy, but the view improved the overall stay..

I would never stay there again

The location to the beach was good There was Wifi There was air conditioning

There was no dishwasher no washing machine as advertised The sofa bed was so old and in bad condition we had to purchase an airbed The water was out for an entire afternoon with no prior warning The location was so hard to find as it was wrong it cost us €40 extra to get there The kitchen equipment was inadequate The remote control had no batteries There was 1 toilet roll for a week Not enough bedding

Anxious arrival as some things works bad or you find hidden additional costs

Seaside location, sun view for the whole day, calm rest at the balcony, a lot of tools and utilities in the flat, some food and spices in the kitchen (we also left f.e. paella rice for next clients etc). Wooden seaside patio giving you the opportunity to make comfortable kilometres by foot and visit f.e. La cala de Mijas.

I see the property still has the wrong location (20 km distance), which I guess is giving same problems to others. Using booking.com taxi, you must pay additional money because the apartment is not in the location which is set here and you can't change it when booking the service. Called booking.com taxi but just spent 5 € on this International call left waiting on hold by the consultant with no result (no help). We had to pay extra or could be left in Mijas city at night. To get the flat keys, count another +16km from the flat (8 km go, 8 km return) which of course must be paid extra in the booking.com taxi. The check-in is 16:00-22:30 but they suddenly want 40 € after 18:30 while there is no such information on the booking.com property page and to tell the truth, nobody checks you in person. The owner is outsourcing part of the tasks to a "cleaning company" which sends you blocks of texts half Spanish-half English, all sticked together which is a reading nightmare. The cleaning cost mentioned in the reservation is 120 € (!) but the apartment was cleaned more like for 20 € (f.e. dirty chairs, table and utilities on the balcony). Finally, as others have already said: yes, the couch stinks and is not comfortable, the neighbours can make so much noise in the middle of the night f.e. talking loud Spanish on the staircase. You are given only 1 garbage bag for 7 days! Somebody have to fix the elevator door scraping the floor while opening. Really not happy to mention negative experiences, but in years of travelling I have never found so many problems and uncertainity in just one booking.

Superb

Amazing! Great location. Beautiful view! Very nice place for solo traveller or couple. There was everything I need in the kitchen, Hot water in the shower. Just perfect.

The sofabed was not the most comfortable but good enough. At this kind of place I would even sleep on the floor.

old property with extreme no car to the facilities or having a nice stay

The property location is really nice, you have direct access to the ocean.

- cutlery is old and rusty - cutlery wasn’t even clean - electricity keeps going down if you had the air-condition and wanted to make tea, the electricity switch goes down - the couch is super uncomfortable for sitting - the mattress is a disaster for the back (you need a massage after sleeping, prepare yourself) - the floor in the bathroom is slippery (we fell after showering) - there is no good isolation - there is an airflow from the balcony and the main entrance door

Brilliant stay at a suburb location that offers Spectacular Views

Collecting the Keys was very easy and straightforward, a representative was waiting for me at the property upon my arrival to hand them over and it was completed promptly. I Loved the location. The views are spectacular. The WiFi worked very well. The Surrounding locality has everything you would ever need whilst on Holiday. Overall i think its great and i will return again.

View to die for.

The location was great, not overly touristy. Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants across the road, all excellent. Supermarket across the road. View from the balcony worth the money alone.

The list of facilities is wrong, there is no washing machine, no barbecue and no dishwasher. The parking was a nightmare, not enough spaces for all the residents. The bathroom floor had to be mopped after every shower as the water didn't drain away quick enough. The remote wasn't for the telly so didn't work and there were no stations on the TV anyway(at all).

La ubicacion del apartamento, lo demas terrible. Sucio, el bote sifónico roto, te duchabas y el agua salia por todas partes, el aseo encharcado, la minicocina enana, no pequeña, enana, la terraza desconchada el suelo, el edredón de la cama sucio..en fin..no repito. Lo unico bueno, la ubicación.

Le lit bancal qui grinçait à chaque mouvement, le sol de la douche qui vomissait une eau jaune après chaque utilisation, les rideaux de la chambre que l’on ne pouvait pas fermer, ils étaient sales et déchirés, 2 tabourets en plastique et un unique fauteuil qui tenait avec des ficelles sur la terrasse, les coussins jaunes grisâtres de crasse, la peinture écaillée, les pots d’ingrédients dans la cuisine qui étaient carrément collants de saleté, la description de l’appartement et les photos sont mensongères.

Es la segunda vez que voy, el sitio es inmejorable, las vistas al mar, el acceso a una playa sin aglomeraciones, un paseo para hacer deporte de varios kms por la costa. Espero poder volver cada año
