Unexpectedly comfy

Last minute decision to stay the night in town. Responses were immediate which was great.

My own fault I misread description and thought it a one bedroom rather than one bed (sofa bed) so initially shocked at size but it actually had everything we needed for a comfortable stop over

Casa El Rinconcito

The location of apartment is lovely and so easy to walk to main square to bars and restaurants. The accomidation has everything you need for a self catering holiday. There is a table and chairs outside to sit. The bathroom has a good shower, and has good space and drawers to store your toiletries in. There is coat hangers to put your clothes on which is fixed to a wall. There is a fold down table/chairs in the appartment too, the appartment is very clean and well maintained.

The bed in accomidation is a sofa bed which was very comfortable and easy to set up. There is a tiny window. Accomidation is very compact.

Absolute horror bedsofa, the rest very functional if not very clean

good little kitchen and bathroom

The sofa bed was HORRIBLE, if the matress was 10 cm thick that was it, I could feel every metal support through and spent a night trying to arrange pillows, all kinds of stuff to be able to sleep, not possible!! All the rest is unimportant if the bed is bad, that is in real terms what you are renting, a bed for the night! so poor. when I wrote, and said I had left, a nice friend offered me their sofa, their reply was no refund!!! not an excuse, not a what can we do, not a lets improve on it, nothing, just no refund. The owners have replied that all I complained about was the cleanliness, that is not the issue here, the bed is the issue!!! I forgot my bra (handy tip for travellers, your bra smells a bit manky, put it in the freezer overnight, fresh as a daisy day after) it was not to be upgraded, I have written this review, and your answer totally fails to adress the main ISSUE_THE BED!!! the rest was very ok, small, but I don't need space, I just want a bed to sleep in, so if you can't sleep in the bed, then the place is crap.

Although compact it was modern & clean, the kitchen was well equipped too.

The apartment is tiny, however well presented. We found the room claustrophobic because it only had a little frosted window. and no air con. It was the bed that had steered our low rating. It's a bed settee and so uncomfortable we couldn't sleep and had sore backs the next day. We were stopping for two nights but decided to leave after one night. Also, when we plugged the electric kettle in, it blew the electricity & we were left in darkness. We couldn't restore it using the usual fuse box switch. The host had to call an electrician who did turn up quickly. However, I just wanted a cup of tea and my bed after a long day walking. I politely requested a refund for 2nd night but was told airb&b wouldn't allow it. I booked it through either booking.com, so I didn't take on board the flimsy excuse from the host. The host was anonymous. I never knew the hosts name. The keys were in a secure box, and we communicated via text despite me ringing them twice when the power went off.

Enjoyable 'home from home' stay in an authentic old Spanish village casa.

The opportunity to live in an old casa in the premier Spanish village in Andalucia was wonderful. The property had been skilfully modernised with all mod-cons and a lot of thought had been put into every detail. Well done! A charming holiday home.

No house number was supplied to us on Booking.com, only a name. The sign with the name of the property was so discreet it was hardly noticeable in the dark. There was no welcome light on at the front door which made it difficult for us to identify the property because we arrived as darkness fell. Eventually the Host responded to our calls and came over with the keys. He was apologetic about our wait and also e-mailed us during our stay to check all was well. It is also important to mention that anyone renting this property must be fit and active as it is quite an uphill walk from the town centre square to the property location.

A gem of a find!

Spotless, spacious and well furnished, with a utility area in the 🦇 cave at the back 😁 with laundry facilities. Powerful shower and, very comfortable beds. Added bonus was a Xbox 🎮. The boys were definitely happy! The internal courtyard "bar" area was also very cool! Just gutted, we forgot to take any photos! Literally only a few mins away to all the lovely local restaurants, shops and several supermarkets nearby if needed. Hosts were helpful, friendly and accommodating, giving good tips where to park and eat. Parking overnight nearby (5mins walk) was just over €8. We only stayed overnight but would not hesitate to come back again next time we visit Mijas.

The walk up the hill may make this unsuitable for those with mobility or health issues. The lack of windows and natural light (being a house built in this part of the town on a hill) may also put some people off. However, this doesn't detract from what is a lovely and superb place to stay in a very convenient position.

It's ok, very dark, no daylight.

It's sufficiently equipped with new and clean things and relatively comfortable (minus daylight).

No sufficient daylight thrue the small window. It's not easy to find even with maps through the small streets and it's a pain to cary suitcases there.

Well located, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Hosts were very easy to contact and receptive to our questions.

Rinconcito acogedor en uno de los pueblos más bonitos de Andalucía.

Moderno, limpio, ubicación céntrica y bien aprovechado todo el espacio.

Pasamos algo de frío, no cuenta con radiadores. Aunque la ducha es excelente y tiene buena presión de agua y esa ducha calentita nos ayudó a no sentir tanto frío. Obvio también q estábamos en plena ola de frío.

bereikbaarheid. Wij parkeerden aan de westkant van Mijas op een niet betaalde parkeerplaats vlak vóór het dorp. In het donker was het adres toen met google maps moeilijk te vinden en een aantal bewoners in de buurt aan wie we het vroegen, konden ons ook niet helpen

Tiny house incómodo y caro

El estudio era muy limpio y estaba bien equipado, por ejemplo se agradecen detalles como el jabón, champú, aceite, sal, etc, así como las recomendaciones para ir a comer.

Las fotos del estudio son un poco engañosas. El piso es enano e incómodo ya que tienes que mover y guardar absolutamente todo para poder dar un paso. Me adelanto a la respuesta que vi en otros comentarios de que a la hora de reservar sabíamos que reservábamos un estudio diciendo que lo sabíamos perfectamente pero las fotos lo muestran muchísimo más amplio de lo que en realidad es sumado a que solo cuenta con una minúscula ventana lo cuál genera una sensación de claustrofobia tremenda, que al pasar la mayor parte del día fuera visitando atracciones no la hemos sufrido tanto. Con el calor que hace un aire acondicionado no vendría mal, en lugar de un ventilador que poco hace ( nos vimos obligados en abrir la puerta para que entrase algo de fresco). Además de que la puerta solo cierra si la cierras con llave porque está algo rota. La "cama" era un sofá incomodisimo ( tienes que pasar por encima de la otra persona para ir al baño), sientes en los huesos el metal de abajo y las almohadas son almohadas de decoración para un sofá pero no aptas ni confortables para dormir. Asimismo la tele no iba bien asique tampoco podías disfrutar del sofá. Aún estando en época estival es un robo cobrar 80€ la noche por un "piso" así. Acabo de salir de un alojamiento céntrico en Berlín con balcón y súper cómodo por el que pagué 65€. Es inadmisible cobrar lo que se cobra.
