Good value for money in a good location with lovely views.

We are familiar with the village and enjoy this location near the the centre with beautiful views. Enjoyed no flights of stairs to get to the apartment which is pretty standard when you opt for accommodation with views. Good to be able to get English channels on TV. Thought a really nice touch to have a first aid cupboard in bathroom even though we did not need it. A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival would not cost much but be super helpful to tide you over to have a drink before going to supermarket straight away after your travel in. Lovely pool area.

There is a slope on tiled floor from lounge to balcony area which is not obvious and we both nearly slipped and fell into the table. No issue once we knew it was there. Maybe a white paint mark along the edge may be helpful, or to make visits aware at check in. Crockery and glasses in lounge area a bit inconvenient, but not a major problem. It smelt a bit smokey as as non-smokers we noticed it where others may not. Walls between apartments seemed thinner than others we have stayed in and we could hear other residents going to the toilet in the night, not something have experienced before. We appreciate the cleanliness of the village and the effort put into that, but the bedroom was ground level and alongside the road which was quite busy with cars and what sounded like road sweeping vehicle around 1am one night.

The owner was attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed the location, away from the holiday chaos but close enough to be part of it. Great views and overall lovely apartment. The bed was a bit small but cozy. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a charming village escape.

The only thing we could ask for is a bigger bed.

Great apartment in great location. Incredible views

The room, location and view was excellent. The pool was clean and nice and quiet with sun loungers specific marked up for your apartment which meant there was no lounger rush every morning. This is a great idea and should be undertaken by all hotels. Juan was brilliant.

Only small detail was the grids outside the bedroom were loose and banged when cars went over them at night this isn't the apartment owners fault at all. Easy fix is for the local authority to resit the grids. Everything else was perfect.

Great location with just a short walk to everything. Stunning view day and night! The pool was a massive bonus in the heat and very quiet. Loved the traditional Spanish feel to the apartment and would love to stay again..

Newer sun beds would have been nice and the shower needs a new holder.

Everything you could need and want for comfortable stay. Pool too chilly to use and have stayed in this block before so knew about location etc. owner always on hand to answer any questions. Wifi also available. Even had Netflix available on TV. Great views

Maybe some water and milk be great to leave in fridge. Especially when arriving late at night.

Absolutely loved it apart from the steps issue.

Absolutely stunning views and the apartment was amazing. Was beautifully furnished and everywhere was so clean and had everything you needed.

If you have mobility issues then getting into and out of the apartment which has six uneven steps from the pavement and no hand rail was difficult for us.I have no mobility issues but found it difficult to help my husband. We would definitely stay again if a handrail was fitted either side of the steps.

A lovely apartment with fantastic views, close to centre and ideal for our walking holiday

Location perfect; close to centre of Mijas Pueblo. Spectacular views from the apartment. TV had Netflix. Juan lent us walking poles for the duration of our stay. Juan responded very quickly to any questions we had about the apartment.

I had a great time visiting the Mijas town and hills, with Juan's place as the perfect basecamp.

I was handed the keys and explained where everything was and what to do in case of questions. The location was perfect to get into the town for food or drinks, or getting into the mountain range. No car necessary.

I should not have rented a car since everything I needed was within walking distance, and getting into Mijas was a bit tricky not being a local and knowing what streets to take.

Perfect getaway

Everything! The apartment, views and the location were all fantastic. 4 minutes walk into Mijas pueblo with good transport links to the coast. Juan the owner is lovely, he personally shows you around upon arrival and is contactable throughout your stay. The apartment itself is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful with lots of sunbeds below lemon trees. We never saw more than 2 people there in mid July and had many days where we were the only ones which was lovely. We will return.

Lovely apartment great views

Brilliant location and fantastic views. Cosy Spanish style apartment with 2 comfy sofas very clean and kitchen has all the basics. The pool was accessed down a staircase at the back good size and very clean rarely more than 2 people around. The street was very quiet and only about 4 mins from the main square. We didnt have a car and parking is difficult in Mijas due to the narrow streets so we got around by bus and taxi which was very easy. Juan was very helpful. We will definitely go back .

Loved it so much we have rebooked for 8 weeks time.

We loved this apartment. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a little cold for us this time round but will use when we return in June. Views are fantastic, great location for bars and restaurants, street parking and all the facilities we needed.

The bed was a little smaller than we were used to (we have a super king and it was a double) but after a couple of nights we got used to it. Could also do with a lamp in the lounge. We ended up taking the one out of the bedroom.

Fantastic location just 30 min from Malaga airport, quick access to sea and mountains. Many lovely restaurants and coffee shops with family run bakeries. We are so in love in this place we have already made recomendation to our friends and we are planning to come back again this year.

Pleasant but Noisy Apartment

View from the living room is spectacular. Well provided kitchen with ample equipment including a washing machine and dishwasher. Spacious. Nice to have a pool although we didn’t use it. Centrally located so we were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of towels and a change of bedlinen left.

The bedroom is at the front with a very busy (day and night) road outside. It was impossible to have the window open and even with it shut, the noise was still loud. There’s also an inspection panel in the road which makes a noise when vehicles go over it. Consequently our sleep was disturbed. Also, the heavy metal doors made a lot of noise particularly the main one which was difficult to shut. Most of the time it was left open which compromises security. People were in and out a lot so regularly there was loud crashing from the doors. The sofa bed isn’t comfortable. The whole apartment is dated and needs renovation with cracked and chipped tiles on the work surface and floor. There was a list of supermarkets at the apartment but no instructions on how to find them or what to do with the rubbish which would have been useful.
