We are familiar with the village and enjoy this location near the the centre with beautiful views. Enjoyed no flights of stairs to get to the apartment which is pretty standard when you opt for accommodation with views. Good to be able to get English channels on TV. Thought a really nice touch to have a first aid cupboard in bathroom even though we did not need it. A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival would not cost much but be super helpful to tide you over to have a drink before going to supermarket straight away after your travel in. Lovely pool area.
There is a slope on tiled floor from lounge to balcony area which is not obvious and we both nearly slipped and fell into the table. No issue once we knew it was there. Maybe a white paint mark along the edge may be helpful, or to make visits aware at check in. Crockery and glasses in lounge area a bit inconvenient, but not a major problem. It smelt a bit smokey as as non-smokers we noticed it where others may not. Walls between apartments seemed thinner than others we have stayed in and we could hear other residents going to the toilet in the night, not something have experienced before. We appreciate the cleanliness of the village and the effort put into that, but the bedroom was ground level and alongside the road which was quite busy with cars and what sounded like road sweeping vehicle around 1am one night.

View from the living room is spectacular. Well provided kitchen with ample equipment including a washing machine and dishwasher. Spacious. Nice to have a pool although we didn’t use it. Centrally located so we were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of towels and a change of bedlinen left.
The bedroom is at the front with a very busy (day and night) road outside. It was impossible to have the window open and even with it shut, the noise was still loud. There’s also an inspection panel in the road which makes a noise when vehicles go over it. Consequently our sleep was disturbed. Also, the heavy metal doors made a lot of noise particularly the main one which was difficult to shut. Most of the time it was left open which compromises security. People were in and out a lot so regularly there was loud crashing from the doors. The sofa bed isn’t comfortable. The whole apartment is dated and needs renovation with cracked and chipped tiles on the work surface and floor. There was a list of supermarkets at the apartment but no instructions on how to find them or what to do with the rubbish which would have been useful.
