Superb location if you have a car, nice modern building

Location is an awesome combination of accessible-by-car and close-to-center due to being at the edge of the old village. This makes it easy to walk to restaurants but it is still possible to drive in/out. The Mijas village center is a potential car trap especially during events that easily saturate parking: during our stay police was twice routing traffic away from the village but we got through due to having the dedicated parking at the hotel. The building is new and clean modern Scandinavian style, there is both air conditioning and mechanical ventilation. The wide Mediterranean views are great so definitely recommend getting a room with sea view. The 1st floor apartments' views are slightly blocked from below by the building on the other side of the street: you see a gorgeous wide horizon, but the coastline is mostly hidden; I'd pay a bit more for upper-floor views if there was such an option.

The kitchen area is nice but otherwise the furnishing and equipment is a bit bare-bones which is surprising since the building itself is so high quality. A tiny investment in a comfier sofa, clothes cabinet, and perhaps a bigger TV would make a big difference. Spending time in the room beyond breakfast was not very comfortable, which was good for us so we didn't get stuck in front of a TV. During the two stormy days lounging in the living room area could have been a nice option though, but we rather went out. No dish washer - I think the previous time I've manually washed dishes was in the 1990s so didn't even think to check it. Again not a big deal, since we mostly ate out. The worst part is lack of process/documentation: our arrival instructions said the owners will hand us the keys. When we arrived on Christmas Eve (yes, special case), there was no-one on site and we spent an anxious 30 minutes trying to contact the owners who didn't answer the phone. Through sheer luck there was another couple staying whom we met downstairs and they helped us out: they had phone contact with owners and managed to find out which apartment was ours and how to get the keys. Apparently the normal process would have the owners hand over the keys and introduce the facilities, but due to the glitch in key handover we also didn't get the introduction and there was no written documentation (apart from "turn off AC when leaving") so we also spent a fair amount of time looking around and trying to figure out how everything works. That said, both the owners and the other guests who helped us were super nice people! It's a chore but I'd invest in written instructions at least for: AC and ventilation ("Siber") usage, trash sorting, cleaning policy, laundry, oven.

Perfect choice for Mijas Pueblo holiday!

Loved the apartment,the location,the easy walk to town,supermarket nearby and smoothie shop,fabulous pool and outdoor areas,all very clean.Honesty bar a good idea and staff very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing complex

I've stayed in various apartments and hotels in Mijas Pueblo in the past, but this one is my absolute favourite! From arriving, we felt so welcomed by Sandra and Yan. We were shown to our room which was lovely and clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the rituals products added a touch of luxury. Although the complex is right on the main road when the patio doors are fully closed you dont hear any road noise, same at the beautiful pool area, quiet and relaxing. There's even an honesty bar where you can get a drink and add it to your room, another personal touch. There are amazing views from the roof terrace too, where you can take up your food and eat if you wish or just sit and soak up the sun. Rooms are above the shop Summy, where my daughter found a new love for frozen yoghurt, she would debate what toppings she was going to have every day. Koala opened when we were staying too, we enjoyed a lovely brunch. The apartments are well situated, not far from the main area where there's lots of bars, shops and cafes. We will definitely be back!

Lovely apartment in great location but definitely needs a new sofa bed!

Excellent location. Everything clean and new looking. Nice pool with recliners and umbrellas.

The apartment is advertised as 2 bedded including a sofa bed but the sofa bed is too small and extremely uncomfortable.

It's a fairly new family run business and they are doing all the right things to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The pool area is spacious and the on site cafe is excellent. A little disappointed we never experienced the breakfast / brunch as this new addition to the business was due to open a week after our stay ended. When we visit the pueblo again we will not be looking anywhere else for our accommodation.

We loved staying at this property, everything about this property is high end facilities and services. It has everything you could possibly want in a self contained apartment. PARKING GOOD, CLOSE TO BARS, VERY CLEAN AND GREAT FACILITIES

La familia Apartaments Mijas is true gem with an outstanding host.

We had a truly wonderful stay! Despite our late arrival, Sandra welcomed us with such warmth and friendliness—it instantly made us feel at home. The room was spotless and beautifully presented, with a lovely balcony that was perfect for relaxing. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the best smoothie we've ever had—absolutely delicious! Sandra’s hospitality made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Very warm hospitality can be expected in this new family-operated hotel.

Sandra and Jan were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome in this beautiful new family-run hotel. The location was ideal just east of the center of the village. Appreciated the secure free parking lot nearby. Suggest asking for a room with a mountain view facing the pool and away from the street if mild traffic noise is a concern. Our mountain-view room was very quiet. Loved having the ice cream shop on the ground floor. It was a real bonus after a day of hiking on the mountain above.

Including some sugar for coffee would be nice and providing a roll of paper towels would help with kitchen clean-up. Really nothing negative at all about our stay there.

Absolutely brilliant

Simply amazing ! I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years but this one by far is simply “amazing”. Sandra, the host is very friendly and informative and the accommodation is still pretty brand new. The rooms are well equipped, very modern and the views are stunning for the sea view apartment options. The shower is awesome and there is air con in each room that is set by you hot or cold which is great as usually it’s turned down or off in hotels. The apartments are quiet and relaxing. The selling point by far is a view you simply won’t get anywhere else this easy and for this price point. You can see for miles away. Theres private and secure parking, swimming pool ( I didn’t use it as it’s rather cold this time of year ) and there’s some communal areas too. There’s a lovely shop downstairs that sells smoothies and sweet treats. Everything in mijas is within walking distance and not up or down hills. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone of any age bracket and it’s also pet friendly, so I stayed with my pet pooch Vinnie who carried an additional but yet reasonable charge of €20 extra per night. Get it booked and enjoy the breathtaking views of Espana.

Friendly and pleasant reception by the hosts, excellent and clear communication, hosts easily accessable and generous with ample information on sitrs to visit and restaurants worth visiting in the neighbourhood. Well equipped and functional apartment, quiet and serene surroundings in splendid Mijas. Mountains and the sea gives a slight hint of what Paradise may look like 😅 Would definitely come back. Todo muy bien.Por poner un pero ,había bastantes mosquitos en el suelo ,al lado del balcón del salón.Como nuestra estancia fue en Navidades puede que el apartamento estuviera cerrado y realizada la limpieza desde las .vacaciones de verano y antes de nuestra estancia no fuera revisado
