The location was brilliant, shame we didn't get to stay there because of the unhygienic conditions at the apartment

Not as described, facilities exaggerated and cleanliness level was poor. The worst was the smell because of which we decided not to stay there and left within one hour of checking in. Such a shame! The lender is charging a competitive price but is not delivering on his promises - poor service. Very disappointed! Bad odour arising from old and unwashed upholstery, bed wetting stains on the mattress and bad odour in the room overall! There was hardly any cupboard space and a tiny corner for hanging clothes (good luck if you have dresses). When confronted about these issues, the lender decided to hide and has not replied nor taken any responsibility. Disappointed.

Lovely room with beautiful decoration, very clean, with excelent wi-fi and comfortable bed. Excellent location : right in the center of Alphen aan den Rijn, close to major cities and the coast ( especially if you have a car ). Biggest plus of this property is its amazing host : Jan Vic !!! Very kind, friendly, helpful, gave us many useful information and tips. We would definitely stay again and we highly recommend it !!!

Room and bathroom are very clean. is cleaned every day. coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator available. It was very nice to have tea, coffee and various breakfast items. Jan Vic was a very good host. I asked for my clothes that spilled coffee to be washed and he washed and brought my dress. He helped us by bringing portable air conditioner when the room was too hot. The location of the room is ideal. The hotel is very close to the train and in the center. A house with a terrace view at the bottom of the canal. You can also take advantage of the terrace!

It was very hot and mosquitoes were plentiful but Jan Vic brought us air conditioning. The stairs are narrow and steep, which is important if you are disabled or elderly, but it was not a problem for us.

Stylishly decorated room with wonderful bed. Excellent and elegant bathroom facilities. The host arranged us lovely breakfast.

There were loud construction works on the street which started quite early, but for the next guests it will probably be over. Still, keeping window open in the evening means hearing conversations on the street, until it calms down. It is nice, if you like to be amongst people.

Excellent host! Clean room which was cleaned daily Great breakfast. Alphen is not a tourist location, but this B&B was on a very nice spot in the center and on the river with many boats and good restaurants

It was hot, so left windows and door open. However, the restaurant crowds (outside) were noisy. Suggest to add a fan (pedestal) to create some air motion Even for a Dutch persons, the narrow stairs are scary. Something to take into consideration when booking this wonderful B&B.

The apartment is located in the city center, close to restaurants, bar, shops... Jean Vic was really nice to us and made sure we had anything we needed. He was also very flexible for the check-in (We arrived very late at night). The room was cleaned every night and we got clean towels every day.

Rijnzicht heeft wat menig verblijf mist........stijl!!!!

Vriendelijk en duidelijke communicatie met verhuurder. Bij binnenkomst van verblijf kreeg ik het "woow-moment". Wat was deze super schoon, sfeervol en met stijl ingericht. Er stonden zelfs wijnglazen. Na een avondvoorstelling in het in de nabijheid liggend theater, vlijde ik mij neer op het zachte bed. Ik voelde mij als de prinses uit een bepaald sprookje maar dan zonder de erwt. Kortom..........een experience die zeer zeker voor mij voor herhaling vatbaar is.

Knus ingericht appartement aan de straat hartje alphen

Met liefde ingericht knus appartement in hartje Alphen aan gezellig straatje. Overal is aan gedacht. Fijn dat er zelfstandig in en uit gecheckt kon worden. Vernieuwde badkamer met allerlei fijne aangeboden toiletartikelen.

Er is geen zicht op de rijn. Naam van appartement is misleidend. Grote handdoek en iets harder bed is aandachtspuntje

Mooie ligging midden in de stad, heel nette kamer, schoon, heerlijk bed, goede douche, eigenlijk alles top!

De steile trap naar het appartement was wel wat spannend en echt niet voor mensen die iets slechter ter been zijn.
