A truly lovely hideaway in a great area.

Ernst was a super host - very kind and friendly and made an unintended solo trip feel comfortable and relaxing. Although the kitchen is tiny, the place was really well equipped. Lovely breakfast and a beautiful view with lots of birds and hares to watch.

An absolute gem, in the middle of "the bollenstreek", and such a heartwarming welcome one rarely experiences nowadays! One can sense their is true Dutch and Swedish passion behind the initiative. Thank you so much Ernst and family, we will for sure be back 😊

Wonderful Stay

Matthea and Ernst are very generous hosts. We were warmly welcomed with a beautiful Welcome Basket, with Dutch treats and wine. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable and has everything one could need for a few days or longer. Small kitchen,( coffee machine, oven, refrigerator),lounge, dining room and shower. The cottage is located overlooking a Tulip Farm and within an easy drive to the local Beaches, Leiden and Haarlem. Breakfast, delivered each morning, is delicious and very substantial. There was an added treat of a homemade afternoon tea cake. We loved staying here and highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit a different part of the Netherlands.

Brilliant cabin with fantastic hosts.

The cabin is in a great area and as we went for the tulips it was in a super location. The cabin was made very comfortable by our hosts who left us lots of treats. It is compact but has lots of room to relax. There was a bbq which was great and a wood stove for the winter. We didn't use the stove but had a lovely BBQ. Our hosts were super friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay great. I would recommend to anyone who likes the freedom to cycle too as the cycle track opposite goes to some lovely places nearby.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was a perfect trip for us.

Weekend in Voorhout

Very nice and cozy place. Quiet! Quite close to everything (you need a car). Very nice amfitrions. Delicious breakfast (most important to me to start a good day).

Smaller than I thought. Not much space in the kitchen so you don't feel like cooking. And the shower in the room not really ideal but also nice if you take shower before go to sleep.

Sehr nette Begrüßung von Ernst - dem Besitzer. Haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Sehr bequemes Bett und gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Lage nahe einer befahrenen Straße - hat man aber gar nichts von mitbekommen. Schnell in Leiden oder Noordwijk - super gelegen.

Knus huisje, goede uitvalsbasis

Fijne huisje, knus, klein maar met alles wat je nodig hebt. Sauna is erg fijn en ligging t.o.v. van kust en cultuur (Leiden, Haarlem) is top. Ontvangst en contact eigenaar ook erg prettig!

Niks wat we niet van tevoren wisten. Keuken en badkamer zijn klein, maar funtioneel. In de winter is het uitzicht (braakliggend veld en loodsen) wat minder dan voorjaar of zomer (bloemenvelden). Bedden naar onze smaak wat zacht.

Ein sehr gemütliches kleines Haus im Schweden Style, Frühstück ist extra buchbar und wird liebevoll von der Familie vorbereitet und die Sauna ist das echte Highlight der Unterkunft. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

wunderschönes Häuschen mit Privatsphäre, an guter Lage

ein süsses kleines Haus, dass mit viel liebe eingerichtet wurde. ( Für maximal 2 Personen). Sehr nette Vermieter. Ich hatte eine superschöne Zeit dort und das Bett war herrlich! Die Küche habe ich nicht gebraucht, ausser den kühlschrank.

Alles rundum perfekt gewesen. Ein Highlight war die Sauna.

Wir hatten ziemlich viele Stechmücken im Schlafzimmer, dementsprechend könnte man in Erwägung ziehen, ein Fliegengitter zu installieren.

Die Empfehlung von Ernst hinsichtlich Fahrradverleih und Restaurants haben unseren Aufenthalt deutlich bereichert.

Ein sehr schönes kleines Häuschen mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Sauna und der Ausblick aufs Feld waren Erholung pur. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Sauna, das liebevoll gestaltetes und eingerichtetes kleine Häusschen, die Gegend. Ja! Es hat und gefühlt alles gefallen. Wir konnten wirklich entspannen und waren für uns isoliert.
