Cozy tiny house close to Schiphol Ams Airport

If you prefer your holiday hideouts to be in a lovely, quiet village, then this is definitely a good location. The chalet is tucked away via a footpath, a very private location. The only thing I occasionally heard were the sounds of planes flying, but that's to be expected and they didn't bother me. I like how the fridge is also stockpiled with breakfast items. In my stay, there was bread, butter, yogurts, cheese, salami, plenty of utensils, a Nespresso, and a kettle. There is also milk and juice. I made sure to sample as much as possible. Complimentary wine and peanuts were a nice touch too. Wi-Fi is easy to connect to and is relatively quick. More than enough for video streaming and gaming. Beds are also large and comfortable. There's space underneath them to store things too. Walk-in shower was easy for me to get the temperature just right. The place was clean, no unpleasant smells from my experience.

This might be an inconvenience for some and I can't fault the property for it, but bus connections from the village aren't the most convenient. It is absolutely doable, around 15 minutes to Zeilhof bus stop and then to Hoofddorp train station. However, just be warned that the normal buses from Zeilhof DO NOT run on weekends. On weekends, try booking an OV-op-maat instead using the app (basically public transport on demand). Had to make a Dutch Google account to use it, but it has English language. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to keep in mind

Public transports are very far, the house can get quite hot during the day, no response from the host when we asked for their airport transport

Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend und liebevoll zusammengestellt wobei ich als Veganerin das meiste nicht essen konnte. ein Supermarkt gab es in der Nähe , und es empfehlt sich einen Fahrrad zu haben , so kommt man überall schnell hin.

We liked that it was tucked away so felt more private, and that the property was open so therefore made it easy to access as we arrived quite late in the evening. Had a really lovely talk with the owner in the morning who showed us around the rest of his premises.

The floor in the main bedroom space was incredibly cold, this made it a little uncomfortable to walk around after a shower and getting out of bed. The bed was also pulled away from the walls, which made it feel like it was taking up some space in the room.
