Wow, just WOW! Had an absolutely phenomenal time this past weekend at this cabin. From the beautiful decor, to the wood-burning fireplace, to the gorgeous view from the deck, it was all just perfect! Beds were super comfy, we loved the cozy blankets, and our walks were just perfect. Even the twin bunks were comfy! The gorgeous fall foliage was amazing. HIGHLY recommend. Can’t wait to come back next year

I cannot say enough good things about this property -- truly beautiful place in a wonderful, serene setting. Sitting on the back deck is like being in a very comfortable tree house. The house itself is so tastefully furnished and accessorized and very well equipped. We had everything we needed and then some. Yes the road up the mountain is a mountain road; no surprise there. Totally worth it!

The house is in a beautiful location. It had several lights on to welcome us. The door has a code, so it was very easy. The layout is great. We had 2 issues with the house. 1. It does not sleep 7 people. We had 7 adults in our group. We ended up putting one person on a very uncomfortable couch in the living room. The couch was fine for sitting, but not meant to be slept on. I cannot understand how this was listed as an accommodation for 7 or 8 people. Unless the couch and the loveseat were intended sleeping arrangements. Which is not acceptable, nor indicated. We rotated people, so that no one person had an uncomfortable sleep every night. To be clear, there is one set of single bunk beds, a king and a queen bed. No sleeper sofas or even a cot. I did attempt to contact the host once, because the wood wasn’t dry enough to burn the first night in the fireplace. We ended up buying wood. It may have been the humidity, because the 2nd day it was okay. It burned slower, but did work. The main issue with that was the host didn’t reply to my email. I wasn’t happy to have to leave and buy wood that night. But I’m glad it wasn’t a serious issue, based on the lack of response. Overall, this is a beautiful house and it is easy to host a nice gathering there. But the misleading description regarding how many people the house can accommodate was a problem. It is a major factor in choosing a place to stay. And in that aspect, this was not a satisfactory experience.
