The Riptides - Oregon Beach Vacations
Welcome to The Riptides, a quintessential beach house offering 75 feet of ocean frontage and stunning views of where the Necanicum River meets the Pacific Ocean. Located in the highly sought-after North Prom area of Seaside, this beautiful home comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests, including your furry friend, making it the ideal Oregon Coast vacation rental.
As you enter through the dining room, you'll find seating for 9 guests, plus a highchair for the little ones—perfect for family meals. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for preparing meals during your stay.
The living room offers a cozy retreat with a flat-screen TV, a selection of books and games, and breathtaking ocean views. During cooler evenings, enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace. This level also features two bedrooms—one with twin bunk beds and another with a queen bed and ocean views—along with a full bathroom.
Step outside to the unique wrap-around porch, partially enclosed to allow year-round enjoyment. The porch includes a picnic table, outdoor furniture, and a charcoal BBQ, perfect for coastal meals regardless of the weather.
On the lower level, you'll find a fun recreational area with a foosball table, as well as a bunkroom that sleeps four, with a queen bed and two twins. The lower floor also includes a bathroom with a shower, a separate exterior entrance, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer, offering both privacy and convenience for your group.
Whether you're visiting Seaside for a family vacation, beach getaway, or exploring the Oregon Coast, The Riptides will be your perfect home away from home.
Dog Friendly for up to 2 dogs, no other pets allowed. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property.
This home is not the main home and is instead a studio with its own private entrance on the side of the house. The studio suite is attached to a private residential home that can be occupied. This home has a private side entry with 3 designated parking spaces and no on street parking.

Please Note: Due to Fire Regulations the Fire Pit had to be removed because it is less than 50 Feet from the Dunes. For any questions, please reach out to the City of Seaside Fire Department.
Please note that boats, trailers, and RVs are unfortunately not permitted.

Excellent location; awesome views of the ocean. Very nice, updated and well stocked kitchen. A little more dated and worn (broken lampshade in living room) than we were expecting; spots here and there that weren’t properly cleaned or dusted. But overall it suited our needs just fine and we would go back.

This is a quintessential beach house—great beach and access and well located to all of Seaside. The praise ends with those comments. The house is of very average quality; the listing pictures are not a fair representation of the house. The main living area is nice but the furnishings are very dated. The kitchen which is said to be fully equipped has a limited supply of garage sale items. The bed rooms are substandard. Poor lighting and beds. The down stairs “bunk room” is a step below a frat house sleeping porch. Bathrooms are tight and very definitely one person at a time. The house was only superficially clean and several outside lights were burned out or inoperable. The key box was hard to operate and only one key for large groups. Very problematic. Why not a keyless entry system. I could say more but think the message that the premium pricing for this property is not justified.
