Tackle Box features a massaive lagoon style private pool and a private Tiki bar, it’s like having your own private resort! The home sits on a private gated road (glorified sidewalk) just across the street from private beach access. The road dead ends just one home past Tackle Box so you will not have to deal with traffic at all! Enjoy stunning gulf views from every level of the home (the higher you go, the better the view!) Tackle Box has a seven bedroom main house and a two bedroom guest house. The guest house is fully self sufficient with a full kitchen, full living room, full bathroom and laundry area.
Perfectly situated on the east end of Destin, Miramar Beach is the perfect location for your next visit to Destin. With Miles of Sugar white sand and crystal clear water, beach side living simply doesn’t get any better. The beach front area in this community is nice and wide so you will not have any trouble find your spot to hunker down on the beach.
This area also boasts tons of shopping and dining options. The Silver Sands premium outlet mall is where you will find 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurant options (just 2 minutes from the heart of Miramar Beach!) In addition to the restaurants found at the outlet mall you will find countless dining and shopping options sprinkled throughout the Miramar beach community including two beach front options within walking distance (the Whales Tail and Pompano Joe's) If you are looking for a bit of nightlife head on over to the village at Baytowne Wharf; here you will find numerous night spots, upscale dining, zip lines and activities for the kids along with fireworks all summer long! The Grand Blvd shopping center just outside the gates of Sandestin offers even more upscale dining options, boutique shopping and a brand new movie theater!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything was perfect except the pool was too warm. Not sure if there was a pool heater but it sure seemed like it was on. Otherwise, no complaints or problems !! Great place !

We stayed at Tackle Box for a week with a very large group of all ages. The location is excellent! Just steps from the beach. The space was generous and didn't feel cramped, and the property seemed clean overall. We had a great time and would stay again.Only negatives were some minor maintenance issues (slightly dirty pool, clogged drain, non-operable window and door to balcony, broken fridge drawer, and outdated filter). Any that we reported were addressed promptly by the property manager. The upper floors could also get a bit warm at times.Overall we had a great time and would recommend this property.

We recently stayed at TackleBox and while the home itself has great potential and plenty of space, we were disappointed given the premium price we paid.The outdoor furniture on the main gathering level is in need of attention. One chair was broken, several cushions were heavily stained, and some cushions were missing altogether, making it less comfortable for our family to enjoy the outdoor space. There were also no outdoor trash cans, which made cleanup inconvenient throughout our stay.The game room was cluttered and disorganized, which took away from what should have been a fun gathering space for our family.The kitchen was not adequately stocked for a home that sleeps 28 guests. There were not enough utensils, cookware, or kitchen essentials to comfortably prepare meals for a large group. Having only one spatula and one pair of tongs made cooking for everyone unnecessarily difficult.The refrigerator water filter appears to need replacing, as the ice had an unpleasant taste and looked dirty. We also experienced several electrical issues, including outlets that didn’t work and lights that were out both inside and outside the home. The pool lights were also not working, which limited our ability to enjoy the pool in the evenings.The home could also benefit from fresh paint and general cosmetic updates, as it is beginning to show signs of wear.For the price of this property, we expected a much higher level of maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail
