    comfortable stay. easy to access from train station. there's konbini nearby. lots of konbini. you can walk to dotonbori. the accomodation is clean. the staff is very helpful and accommodating. highly recommended

    I’ll start off by saying that the staff was incredibly kind, that they have an amazing common space, it’s great that there is a Lawson right across the street, and it’s an easy walk to Dotonbori Canal. Unfortunately, I felt that my dorm room, the hallway that it was in, as well as the elevator had this lingering foul smell. I’m not sure if it was the rain those few days that just made the carpets absorb the humidity and keep the smell there too, but it was kind of a consistent thing throughout my entire stay. I think because of this I tried to just not be in the dorm room, and spent more of our time in the common area or just outside. I do feel like there is an easy fix to this - to just take out the carpet (especially in the elevator), or to do some deep cleaning the carpets in general. As well as adding an air purifier if there isn’t already one. Also if it’s possible to separate the area where people take off their shoes and where people sleep in the dorm rooms - to maybe put some kind of partition or sliding door. ( I do think that it’s the shoes that’s making the dorm room smell) The dorm room itself is very big, which is great, and it has a lot of empty space that I think definitely could be utilized well. For example, putting a couple more hanging racks, because the one that was in there was pretty full of people’s things. I do think this hostel has the potential to be really great, and it already is in many ways, especially since they just opened this summer. So just these few things I wanted to mention. Thanks again.
