The atmosphere of the house is truly unique, as the renovation was carried out with great respect for the history and tradition of the building.
In the garden, guests can still see the traditional “lino” and “podohi”, where grapes were once pressed to produce wine, offering a glimpse into the island’s rural heritage. The kitchen also preserves the original stone-built oven, adding to the authentic character of the house.

We are a family of 4 from Australia and stayed at the house for almost a week. The house is very well equipped with air conditioning and heating. And a fully equipped kitchen with lots of helpful ingredients in the cupboards to ensure a comfortable stay.
We enjoyed both outside living areas. One area just outside the kitchen for breakfast and another area to enjoy the evening shade.
The house is located is a very quiet village and is a walk away from a couple of taverns and general store. It’s a great spot to explore the gorgeous beaches all around Fiskardo.
Demitra was a very helpful and attentive host and we look forward to hopefully visiting again!
