Kefalonian Luxury Villas

The location is fantastic. Very private and quiet. Angela was a fantastic host. The house is rustic and very traditional with some lovely features. The garden is large with a small pool and mature pine trees.

The kitchen was basic (but very usable) and with a separate entrance to the main building. It could use some renovation (but we went end of season). There is a security camera. When booking, the photos for the 2 villas are combined. They are separate properties.

Good location next to airport and castle - not so ample choice of beaches at least for us. Great plot with trees and small but very nice pool. Rustique atmosphere with nice antiques and art, good mattress

They cleaned only every 3 days and we asked for more, they accepted. At a rate of close to 400 EURO per night we felt the property should have offered more attention to detail and a warmer reception with more provisions. 300 EURO should be enough but it is a large house indeed. Separate kitchen access from outside only and no washing machine. Utensils in kitchen need an urgent replacement with fresher kit

A lovely large home with big comfortable rooms, balconies and space to spread out. Easy walk to a beautiful little town with castle ruins atop a mountain and a couple wonderful restaurants and cafes with epic views. Feels very “local” and like a real house in a nice neighborhood. Not easy to find in these tourist heavy places. Quick 10 minutes to our 2 favorite unorganized beaches: Pessada and Agios Thomas. Wonderful communication with Angela.

Could have used a tiny washing machine for a few items.

Great location with lots of trees

While we did enjoy aspects of our stay, we were unfortunately quite disappointed with the condition of the villa, which did not meet the standards we expected in relation to the the price we paid. It was evident that the property is not well maintained and it seems it hasn’t been looked after for quite some years. Some of the issues we encountered included water leaking through the ceiling above one of the showers, rotting window frames and doors, and most concerningly—a broken balcony railing that posed a serious safety risk and nearly resulted in a severe accident involving my wife. In addition to these maintenance problems, the overall cleanliness of the villa left much to be desired, and the mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. Given these issues, we would not recommend the property, and frankly, we had expected a more proactive response from the host. We also raised some of our concerns with the lady who came to change the sheets and towels (which was only once in 10 days) but we hadn’t heard anything further since
