Fantastisk sted at koble af og komme lidt væk fra den almindelige hverdag. Huset er virkelig charmerende, og værten var både imødekommende og meget hjælpsom. Vi havde en mindre udfordring den ene nat, men den blev løst med det samme og på en rigtig god måde. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse – vi kunne næsten ikke have bedt om mere.

Sengen i stueetagen var desværre lidt for hård til mig, så jeg fik ikke sovet så meget. Jeg nævnte det dog ikke for værten under opholdet, og jeg er sikker på, at de ellers ville have forsøgt at finde en løsning med det samme.

This is the most beautiful property that is like stepping back in time but with modern day luxury. My heart skipped every time we pulled up to the huge gates, every time we opened the front door or walked up the wooden stairs to tradition stone and wood bedrooms. Completely secluded but a short walk from a couple of the islands best rated restaurants and the perfect sundowner bar! The Villa is spotless and cleaned several times during our stay. The host was waiting on our arrival, shared loads of tips and answered my questions about the island on WhatsApp and even dropped off a few bottles of wine one morning when we had ventured out to the castle.

Great location with lots of trees

While we did enjoy aspects of our stay, we were unfortunately quite disappointed with the condition of the villa, which did not meet the standards we expected in relation to the the price we paid. It was evident that the property is not well maintained and it seems it hasn’t been looked after for quite some years. Some of the issues we encountered included water leaking through the ceiling above one of the showers, rotting window frames and doors, and most concerningly—a broken balcony railing that posed a serious safety risk and nearly resulted in a severe accident involving my wife. In addition to these maintenance problems, the overall cleanliness of the villa left much to be desired, and the mattress in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. Given these issues, we would not recommend the property, and frankly, we had expected a more proactive response from the host. We also raised some of our concerns with the lady who came to change the sheets and towels (which was only once in 10 days) but we hadn’t heard anything further since
