Villa Sensi

We stayed 7 nights in this beautiful villa and it was exactly what we needed for a family holiday. It has 4 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, which makes a huge difference when you're a bigger group and everyone wants a bit of privacy. The house is spacious, very clean, and the area is really quiet, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, and 20 to 40 minutes from some of the most beautiful beaches in Kefalonia: Fteri (rated the 2nd best in the world!), Myrtos, Agia Kyriaki, and Petani. What we appreciated the most was finding the house perfectly tidy every single time we came back. That's usually one of the reasons I go for a hotel instead of a villa, even though I much prefer the space and the time spent together, especially with family or a bigger group. Here we got both: comfort and spotless cleanliness. Our host, Spiros, was very friendly and always quick to help with anything we needed, and so was his mother. And the welcome tray he prepared for us was honestly better than what we got at some of the restaurants in the area! 😊 We highly recommend both the villa and the island. Kefalonia has some of the most beautiful waters we've ever seen. We felt right at home, just a lot more beautiful.

Lots of space, great sized pool. Close to the beach.

The property was very well maintained, the pool and outdoor areas where amazing, and the rooms where all a really good size.

Not much

Spyros and family are great hosts, the homemade moussaka and pastitsio were excellent. House itself is great with the outdoor areas and swimming pool. It's a short drive to Lixouri which has shops, bakeries, butcher etc. It's walking distance to Lepada beach, and a short drive to other beaches such as Vatsa. The best beach is Petani which is a 25/30m drive.
