Villa Brio

Villa Brio is really beautiful. The location is stunning and we loved jumping into the sea from the small jetty and snorkeling in the bay. The pool was perfect for our kids and super safe. We enjoyed being away from the town but being able to walk along to shops and restaurants in the evening.

We really did love everything. If I did have to suggest an improvement, it would only be to have more sofa/comfy chairs in the living/ kitchen area so we could all sit together after dinner and relax. For us, this didn't bother us too much because we generally all headed to bed when we came back from dinner. If we were all adults, staying up later, might have been preferable than sitting on dining chairs.

Loved everything

The location, the standard of facilities, the cleanliness of the house, pool, garden was superb.

The double bedroom on the top floor had a divided bed rather than a double bed. Was slightly annoying.

The private pool with a view and the friendly host were the only great points of this property.

The villa 1 where we stayed for 3 nights was not as clean as expected and we didn't feel comfortable to stay inside or have proper sleep at nights due to the fear for cockroaches which we countered during the second night of our stay where we found cockroaches in our bedroom (poor my sister who is terrified of the them stayed the whole night up), also the beds were uncomfortable. It seems that the villa is not cleaned thoroughly regularly, as dust and dirt could be found around each corner and the kitchen appliances were full of oil and dirt. I have allergy to house dust mites which was accelerated during my stay there. The bathrooms are so basic and small. The villa is rather far from the next supermarket and considering the steep road and the heat it's not easy to walk to the supermarkets and good restaurants which are located in Skala village, so it's better to consider renting a car if you are planning to stay in villa Brio. Also, if you are travelling with seniors or children, this property is not recommended as there are narrow and steep marble stairs which you need to take to go to bedrooms and bathrooms.
