The cave house is typical of the Loire! By occupying these places, you will live in the middle of a rock formed there for millions of years! Looking more closely, you can even find fossil shells.

The lodge offers a pleasant space of 43m2 and is arranged like a loft. Composed of a sleeping area with double bed (160x200) and an extra bed (80x180), a space fully equipped kitchen and a dining room, a sitting area (which is waiting his wood stove) and a bathroom.
A small room adjoining the house allows to store bicycles. Internet access adsl + Wifi network and television.

Jerome's beautiful studio apartment. built into a cave just outside of the awesome village of Amboise is a delightful place to stay. It is in a beautiful rural area, and what an experience to stay in a cave house! It is beautifully decorated, has a bright lovely living room with a wood stove, a kitchen, and a separate bedroom area. The bathroom is large with two sinks, and the shower is awesome. Jerome himself is a charming friendly host. We hope to return on a future trip to France.

This place is very cute. Well appointed kitchen, large bathroom, cozy space all around. It's on a steep and narrow street, don't miss the turn. And with cooler temps, the moisture level is severe. But the location is perfect to explore the Loire valley, the owners are very sweet, and the place is completely adorable. Recommended!

We stayed for two nights in this home and wish we would have stayed longer! Thanks to great directions from Jérôme we were able to easily find the home up back lanes along the hillside in Noizay, a tiny town in the Loire Valley. It's set up with a living/ kitchen area and then a curtained area to the back of the cave that is the bedroom. A very nice sized space for two. Very modern bathroom with two sinks and a tiled shower. Quiet neighborhood setting. When you walk up the road, you are on a plateau in a sea of vineyards. Easy drive to Chenonceaux for castle viewing or to Vouvray for wine tasting and Jérôme can recommend other places to visit and places to eat!

Une location atypique, propre, accueillante, et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Les soirées au coin du feu ont été bien agréables. Le petit coin jardin aussi, malgré notre venue en période hivernale. Située au calme, proche de Tours, des ballades et des commerces. Les propriétaires bien sympathiques sont discrets mais à l'écoute. N'hésitez pas. Pour notre part, nous reviendrons.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location atypique. Quel dépaysement de vivre dans un logement creusé à même la roche. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et vraiment à l'écoute de leurs hôtes En plus nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un temps magnifique pour découvrir quelques merveilles de la région

This delightful studio was a perfect spot for a few days in this lovely region of France. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated and well-planned. The kitchen was well-quipped, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern, spacious and light-filled. The sitting area and wood-burning stove added a cozy feeling of being at home. Overall, it was a joy to be there and I look forward to returning again next year. The locale is quiet and surrounded by the lush greenery typical of the Loire Valley.There is a small village a 5 minute drive away with all the basic shops one would need--groceries, pharmacy, post office, bakery, etc. It is a 20 minute drive from Tours, and perfectly situated as a base for sightseeing or just to spend a relaxing weekend. The owners were attentive to any needs or requests, but most importantly, they extended a warm welcome and genuine concern for my comfort and did their utmost to ensure my stay was a pleasant one. It was!

Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht, in dieser Höhle zu wohnen. Von Aussen sehr schlicht aber innen eröffnet sich einem ein wunderbares, modernes, schickes, freundliches Ambiente. Das Bad ist der Knaller. Alles mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Morgens bei Vogelgezwischer vor der Höhle zu sitzen ist einfach Urlaub pur. Dazu ist der Gastgeber ausserordentlich nett und charmant. Wir konnten uns nur schwer von dort lösen. Wir können nur jedem empfehlen, ein paar Tage in dieser wunderbaren Höhle zu verbringen.

Gite très confortable et agréable surtout avec le poêle à bois. L'ambiance et les matériaux sont chaleureux et de bonne qualité. Les hôtes toujours disponibles et accueillant. N'hésitez pas, ce gite est idéal pour 2 personnes en couple.

Formidable accueil de Mari-Aymée et Jérome, sympathiques, dynamiques, courageux, avec qui nous avons passé un excellent moment de vrai partage. Ils ont réussi une parfaite rénovation de cette habitation troglodyte, avec beaucoup de goût. On est sous le charme des objets chinés, de la légendaire lumière de Touraine qu'ils ont su capter, du volume parfaitement utilisé et des extérieurs idylliques au milieu des habitations troglodytes, des figuiers, passiflores et autres plantes magiques. La position géographique est idéale pour découvrir les charmes de la Touraine (châteaux, histoire, vignobles, etc...)

Wonderful stay at this charming troglodyte

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this charming troglodyte home in the hills of the Loire Valley. We received a warm welcome from the hosts, and the accommodations far exceeded our expectations. They even provided gluten-free food items for our breakfast which was so kind and unexpected. Everything was in brand new condition, well equipped, and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and it was very peaceful and quiet. We would have loved to stay longer, but we hope to visit again. The home is perfectly located for exploration of the Loire Valley chateaus and picturesque villages. Jerome and Aymée were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for our explorations of the area. We highly recommend!!
