Beautiful Montparnasse-Raspail room in freestone building in Paris

We so enjoyed staying at this property. The place was not only very clean but beautiful with wonderful art-filled walls greeting you wherever you turned. There was a TV available but we didn't watch it. A wonderful kitchen with all utensils and a beautiful bedroom and bathroom and comfy bed. The host was very helpful and kind.I think the only thing I would say was that the picture window overlooking the street should be taken down because access to the host's living room and dining room is locked off so you can't really enjoy that area of the house. I can understand because it is a personal home but it looked very beautiful. Perhaps if the host was there we could have access. There is however, a library filled with wonderful books and magazines and the host provides guides to Paris and the surrounding areas which we so appreciated.The host was not staying there during our time and we had the place to ourselves. Peaceful. And incredibly convenient to all transportation.I would stay there in a minute if we ever return to Paris.

I was in Paris for just a few days, and this booking provided all that I needed. The location was exactly where I wanted to be. I had a private room with attached bathroom and my own WC, the bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

It was an enjoyable stay in an excellent location. I feel the listing was inaccurate because it did not explicitly mention that this was a shared apartment with the owners. Although the hosts were out of town, we would not have stayed here if we had known that there was a chance of not being alone. However, we ended up being alone and it was a good stay in a very safe building.
