    A bit tired, small rooms, but otherwise kept clean and orderly. The staff are nice, the walls/ ceilings are a bit thin so you will hear other people, but earplugs are enough. Nice balcony views, right next to a station, with good options for breakfast/ food nearby including a monoprix convenience store.

    We arrived in the morning and the staff arranged for room to check in at half day rate, which is much appreciated. We are also lucky to have a corner room with Eiffel Tower view. Room is clean, staff is wonderful, location is perfect! The only downside is the narrow stairs to lobby which you need to consider if you have heavy luggage, you need to carry it up and down. Overall very satisfied

    The hotel is located in a prime location with the subway just outside the door however there are homeless people staying outside, near the hotel so it can be a bit scary especially at night. The room we had has no airconditioning but 1 fan was provided ( stayed for 2 nights in early Aug) The room has an old smart tv that only french channels are available. The bathroom is separate from the toilet but there is no bidet and the ventilation in the toilet does not seem to be working. The water pressure from the shower is good. I like the daily cleaning of the room plus changing of towels. If you want to use kettle, you need to get this from the receptionist The lift/elevator can only fit two people ( we both had 1 small suitcase) The staff were lovely. However when you pay the city tax from the reception, DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE THE RECEIPT. There was a confusion from the day receptionist (we checked in the night before and with a different staff) telling we have not paid the city tax and was asking for the proof of payment. I am not sure if it was language barrier or if he was trying to scam us. WILL I STAY AGAIN? Yes but maybe not in Summer.

    El hotel Du Lion es un lugar para Dormir, es un hotel muy pequeño sin lujo alguno. La entrada es una escalera angosta de almenas 30 escalones (a considerar según tu equipaje), en el lobby nisiquiera hay donde sentarse, el área de desayuno deja demasiado que desear. Te dan solo 1 llave física por habitación y te sugieren dejarla para evitar que la pierdas. No te ponen ni agua en la habitación. El ascensor con 4 personas menos de 300kg no subió, se quedo paralizado, el personal resolvió en menos de 5 minutos. Si solo vas a dormir funciona perfectamente considerando que es muy económico, si te gusta un poco mas de comodidad te sugiero busques otro. La ubicación es muy buena, tienes estación de metro a 2 min caminando, fácil acceso a taxis, restaurantes y bares muy cerca, caminando llegas en 30-60 minutos a cualquier lugar de parís.
