We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. The ducks quacking and running around was so entertaining and the scones on arrival was such a personal touch. We will be returning very soon. The kids would love it 🥰

Peaceful and wholesome!

Lovely peaceful location , hosts were very nice and provided lovely scones on arrival! Also kindly posted a charger I forgot which was much appreciated! We arrived at the tail end of a storm so we had no electricity or phone signal for the stay , candles were provided and we had a lovely evening of board games (also provided) and a digital detox! Would recommend for relaxing wholesome stay :)

Magical

Beautiful little wagon set in a peaceful setting. The wagon was cosy and so warm we only had heater on for 1 hour and turned it off and it stayed warm the whole night 🥰 Very short distance to the bathroom area 💞 Had everything you needed and we got some beautiful home made scones on arrival from the host who was a gentleman which his wife had prepared for us. If you love seclusion and a space to relax and just get away from the hustle and bustle this is a beautiful place to stay. I also tried the herbal tea home made and it was amazing 🥰

Musings on a wet day. It was sunny when we arrived .we sat on wooden loungers drank tea and coffee

The warm welcome.the seclusion,the peacefulness,relaxation.big easy chairs outside. With low wooden table. .ducks quacking about. Quiet dog,private shower,wc etc.clean mountain air. Clothing optional trails. Glenties close by 20 mins Highlands Hotel, ace served late comers excellent steak..busy late on with class goers from.next door. Plenty other options. Fintown historic railway worth a visit.ardara close too.the tallest donegal Assaranca waterfall and close by the Maghera strands and the Maghera caves visiting at low tide or by kayak at any time.

Disappointing

We were made to feel very welcome and were given some homemade scones which was very nice. Lovely isolated location and the shower room looked good although we could not use it as it was the only place to store our soaked gear. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils.

Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we were soaked which made the wagon seem even more cramped than it would have in good weather. We were concerned that there was no carbon monoxide detector and the ventilation was poor and my husband woke up saying he could not breathe. Also a small fire extinguisher should be housed in the wagon considering the toaster is next to the curtain, it is all a little precarious and we did not feel safe.

The prefect place to escape

The pictures do not do this place justice. In the middle of the mountains with no traffic, and in the middle of nature, our stay here was like a camping retreat. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. Will most definitely be back

The Wonderly Wagon is truly Wonderful

The Wonderly Wagon was such a perfect experience. It is proper countryside so you would really need to have a car but the drive to and around it was so so beautiful. The wagon itself had everything we needed, was very comfy, hosts were amazing and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've had. Dogs and ducks were an added bonus!!

The only thing I can fault is that we didn't get to stay longer and explore more!

Lovely place to stay.

Spent one night in this Lovely Place. The Wagon was quaint and wrapped up in nostalgia. Location was perfect for us. Really enjoyed the quietness and peace of the Location. Even the Geese were cheerful!

If you like peace and quiet, this place is amazing. You're very close to nature here, and the owners are very sweet people who greeted us with some homemade scones. Their dog showed us the way to a very magical little waterfall in the woods. There's a private bathroom attached to the house opposite the wagon which has a very comfortable shower.

Cleanliness was slightly lacking. I fell ill after staying here, though I can't be sure if this has anything to do with my stay here. Felt like the bed sheets were maybe not that clean. Also, I'm quite tall so unfortunately the bed in the wagon was a bit too small for me.

Wonderful wagon

A joyous stay. A lovely unique experience. You step into a different reality, both in terms of the scenery but also the lovely welcome from a delightful family. After 3 days we felt so relaxed, and certainly will return next time we are lucky enough to be in donegal. Heartily recommended

Location was great. Out in peace and quiet. No TV so was back to old time favourite board games. Host were so friendly and approachable and could not do enough for you. It was an amazing adventure.

Tranquil space

Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere. The wagon had everything you could possibly need. A kettle a cooker a fridge two double beds storage. Outside was a bathroom with a shower. When we arrived Marian had home made scones with homemade jam ready for us.

If you are tall you may find the bed a bit short . For me it was perfect and the mattress was so comfy.

Magical

I took the bus to finntown and walked through the most beautiful scenery in the mountains to be welcomed by this sacred green land filled with love and smiles. I was made to feel very welcome on arrival With a lovely cup of warm tea. I was shown the wonderly wagon with all it's magical energy and warm colours filled with everything one would need and more. The surrounding grounds were rich with forest life and magical hidden places where I could breathe in the sacred healing heart of mother nature. I have travelled to Ireland, Scotland and wales, and stayed in many places yet this was by far the most Magical combination of nurturing creative heart medicine , nature and joy I have experienced. The breakfast was a welcome site delivered in a basket with Soulful hearty foods. I will bring my family next time as they also have more accommodation on land to book. I could have stayed longer but it was booked in the duration of my time to Ireland which is testament to the popularity of such a wonderful location and family. Worth every penny and you will walk away feeling like you left a little piece of home behind and surely someday return ! Tip .... Bring an instrument... These are a wonderful musical family and a Blessing to all who should meet them 😉🙏🌍💚❤️ Thankyou for your hospitality !

We came, we saw, we chilled out and relaxed.

Breakfast was amazingly good. Hosts were brilliant. We loved our time there. The drive around the two Lough's to get there was stunning also. The ducks were great as was Pablo. Highly recommended.

What can you do about midges?! It's in a forest location so to be expected but hosts took every precaution possible to minimise their impact.
