Just like the photos on the website, so great. Loads of beaches and a pitch and putt nearby.
Village of Ardara a short drive away with loads of shops, pubs and places to eat.
Bernadette the owner had a homemade ginger cake left for us on arrival (yum).
Cottage is pet friendly so our dog was able to come with us, which was a deciding factor.
A better fence along road and gate so that dogs could run about would be an advantage but not a deal breaker.

this charming cottage is located amongst stunning scenery on the Donegal coast - easy walking to beautiful beaches. The local town - Ardara - has everything you need and plenty of pubs with local music. The cottage is moderately furnished and maintained in a traditional way. There is an open fire which adds charm and, practically, warmth too! Lots of outside space for sitting in the sunshine and hanging washing
The water pressure was a little low in the shower and sink

While it was January, it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful and only a short distance outside Ardara.
The cottage with a thatched roof and nicely maintained garden was ideal for our getaway with 2 Great Danes.
We enjoyed it do much we will return when next in the area to stay.

Beautiful 200 year old cottage sympathetically renovated to suit style of property. It was spotlessly clean and contained everything we required. The cottage has a lovely, cosy atmosphere. We had a lovely stay.

We sincerely loved our stay at Beagh cottage and the surrounding locality. The cottage was an authentically decorated Irish home, it was very clean and closely situation to a variety of heritage and scenic spots. We could not ask for more than the warm comfort provided by the cottage. The host was lovely and very welcoming.
We can not flaw our stay here.

Everything! Having stayed in Ardara a number of times over the last few years I love the town. I have always stayed in the local hotels. Never again! This house surpasses anywhere that I have ever stayed. The owners are amazing. The Cottage is amazing. People thought I was mad to go to a cottage in Donegal in December. To be honest this house is warmer and more comfortable then anywhere else I have ever stayed. I'm so impressed that I have decided to rebook for the new year.

Beautiful cottage with very pretty little touches throughout and extremely well maintained. Big folder provided of things to do...really appreciated this, was so handy! Nice big garden space with picnic table which if you get the weather, would be lovely.
I thought the house might be a little more secluded. It didn’t really matter but was a little surprised to see how close the owners house was as you wouldn’t realise that from the pictures. In saying that, the hosts were excellent and left us to do our own thing and were really helpful when we couldn’t close a window and when we accidentally locked the keys in the house so it worked out quite well!
