About this villa rental

On several acres of a private enclosed park, the Manor "La Vigie" has direct sea view on the channel. Situated along the coast, 5 km from Deauville on the one side and Honfleur on the other side, the manor is absolutely peaceful.
Completely renovated, furniture and accommodations are of highest standard. a magnificent French billiards table is available in the Manor and in the garden you'll find a tennis table and a large in ground trampoline

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location. It's very private and quiet, and the large grounds were well kept and the house was clean inside. The owner was very friendly and replied to all our queries in English. We went as a group of 3 families - a total of 5 adults and 6 children aged 10-15, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The nearest village and beach is Villerville (a nice little village), a short walk along the road and then you can cut through a woody path the rest of the way. The local beach was really nice and not as touristy as Deauville/Trouville. As we had most of our meals in the villa, we did most of our shopping in Touques, where there were some nice big supermarkets. As others have commented the kitchen is small, but it has all the facilities and equipment to feed a large group of people. There are plenty of pots and pans and crockery and we used the BBQ outside most nights. There was an extra fridge in the basement, which came in really handy - it wouldn't have been as easy without it. We all enjoyed the table tennis table outside, and had brought extra bats with us, as we had read in a review that it was there. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline which was at ground level. We visited Honfleur, Caen and Pointe du Hoc amongst other things. We also went on a bicycle ride - found some maps of proper routes in the area. There is a Tourist information in Villerville. We had a great holiday, and I would definitely recommend this property.

A lovely house, the location was brilliant - very close to the lovely seaside resorts of Deauville/Trouville and the town of Honfleur. Villerville was a short walk and handy for the supermarket. The house was characterful, spacious and included all necessary implements for a large family holiday. The kitchen was a little small but the extra fridge in the basement provided ample room. The garden was stunning and the children (5 aged between 7 weeks and 3 years) loved the trampoline, slide and swings and there were extra toys in the house. Ample parking spaces, quiet location but near enough to lots of very pleasant towns/beaches. The table tennis and BBQ was well use. The housekeeper Mady was very friendly and efficient and the helpful owner was available by phone for any questions before we left. Great holiday - we would recommend this property.

"This is genuinely a large spacious, sunny house, a very large garden with plenty of activity for our five grandchildren. The kitchen is small but has all the facilities and equipment needed to feed a large family. The bathrooms were adequate but need upgrading and I understand that is in progress for next year. Our family loved the house. The only downside is a few hundred metres walk along the busy road to get to Villerville for the morning''s croissants, which needs care with children, but they are worth it."

Dans un environnement calme mais proche de toutes activités (Deauville /Trouville et Honfleur), en contact avec la nature (vue sur mer, très grand jardin très bien entretenu), nous avons passé trois semaines qui nous a ressourcé et enchanté. La maison est très spacieuse, confortable et très bien équipée. Les salles de bain privatives, modernes, attenantes aux chambres, permettent de préserver l’intimité. Grand merci à Maddy pour son extrême gentillesse et sa disponibilité.
