Great setting off the beaten path, but walkable and public transportation is close by. Quiet area with a fantastic bakery on the corner. So many restaurants within walking distance. Short taxi to downtown and waterfront.

Large, comfortable flat with lots of light on a quiet street with easy access to restaurants, bars, and transportation. You can also walk to city center if you want the exercise, otherwise the trains run very regularly. There is a corner bakery selling coffee and fresh breads just across the way, and at least two large groceries within a few blocks. We enjoyed our stay.

I came to Hamburg for a conference and a few days after and this was an excellent stay! Wonderful location and neighborhood - beautifully quiet and serene, but still well connected to the city!
The host was also responsive and helpful, facilities were well equipped and comfortable!

Die Wohnung ist einfach, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Kontakt war nett und unkompliziert. Sehr schön fanden wir, dass man uns vorab mit dem Preis ein wenig entgegenkam, als wir darum baten. Wir waren tatsächlich erschrocken über die momentanen Hamburger Preise und müssen nun tatsächlich feststellen, dass der ursprüngliche Preis nicht gerechtfertigt gewesen wäre. Das Haus ist vom außen nicht schön, hätten wir das auf den Bildern vorab gesehen, hätten wir wahrscheinlich nicht gebucht. Aber: Die Wohnung ist klein und wirklich gemütlich, die Betten sind sehr gut. Toll war, dass uns ein zusätzliches Laken zur Verfügung gestellt wurde, als wir das brauchten. Salz, Pfeffer, Kaffee, Öl, Duschgel usw. sind da. Hilfreich wären auch: ein kleiner Topf, eine Abwaschbürste oder - schwamm, Geschirrspülmittel, Nudelsieb, Käsereibe... wissen muss man noch, dass die Wohnung sehr hellhörig ist. Man hört die Nachbarn oben/unten sprechen usw. Sinnvoll wäre außerdem, wenn im Schlafzimmer hinten der dicke schwarze Schimmel aus den Fenstern entfernt werden würde. Das fühlt sich tatsächlich nicht ganz so gut an... In den meisten anderen Fenstern wurde das offenbar schon gemacht. Die Baustelle war natürlich nervig, aber nicht zu ändern. Wir waren trotz des hässlichen Wetters viel draußen. Wenn man vorhat, sich zu viert länger drinnen aufzuhalten, würden wir eine andere Wohnung empfehlen. Als Ausgangspunkt zu Eimsbüttel und Schanze war es sehr gut. Für mehr als vier Personen aber keinesfalls zu empfehlen.
