This was our second stay in this venerable house - we loved the fact that it is off the beaten track and not surrounded by other buildings or in the middle of a village - so folk renting this property can have the freedom and spaciousness that it allows.The incredible views of Beynac Castle, especially late afternoon, as the sunset blooms into clouds of incredible oranges, yellows and blue hues, can be enjoyed while sipping one's wine on the patio in front of the house. Then in the mornings, one can thrill to the sight of six or seven hot air balloons in the sky around the Castle and the house.A more convenient location with peace and tranquility (and the swimming pool) cannot be imagined, especially as closely situated as it is to the Gardens, to La Roque-Gageac and to Castlenaud.

Triguidenat is a traditional Perigord house wonderfully located in substantial grounds with distant views of Beynac and Fayac chateaux. A comfortable base with good facilities and a cooling, well maintained pool. Very close to many famous Dordogne sights and Sarlat a short drive away for provisions. Ideal house for a group of adult friends or two families. Would highly recommend.

Lovely week spent at the Villa. Very secluded with private drive (and with Deer!). Fantastic layout and pool.
