Everything was absolutely perfect ! The house was an authentic elegant family house with old world charm, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The location was ideal to discover the nearby villages and all the attractions of the Perigord Noir while still being private and secluded. The nearby forest provided an abundance of mushrooms. The owner, Nicolas was charming and provided lots of information about the region while Ginette, the caretaker was very nice and welcoming. The house, the pool, the view, the vast grounds, the sights and gastronomy of the region, everything was simply perfect. We will definitely be back very soon.

We enjoyed our familiy holidays in la Croze very much. The hosts were very welcoming, hospitable and uncomplicated. The property is very beautiful, spacious and calm. With the two houses, two kitchens, several terrasses and the pool it is perfect for a holiday with the whole family or a big group. All important archaeological sites and caves with impressing examples of palaeolithic art are nearby as well as different châteaus and beautiful villages. We would definitely go there again.
