About this cottage rental
Rustic cottage with 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, designed to accommodate a small group of 15 to 18 (maximum 20) guests in a particularly friendly setting. Very large living / dining room and large covered terrace.
This cottage is located in the centre of the estate, in the old farm.

Splendid property with 35 ha (87 acres) of undulating fields and woods, "Le Domaine de Gavaudun" is a calm green oasis perfectly situated in the south of historic Perigord (Dordogne), the region of a thousand Châteaux, near Quercy, Gascony and Guyenne. Its old charming renovated buildings, its excellent restaurant, the Auberge de Vezou (in the summer), and its modern accommodations in the middle of nature, together with the many organised activities, will make for a memorable stay.
On site activities: floodlit heated pool, spa (sauna, Jacuzzi), floodlit tennis, basket-ball and volley-ball courts, football field, table tennis, trampoline, boules, billiards, play area for the children, walking trails, …
Close to the Resort: horseback riding, cycling, adventure park, rock climbing, caving, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, buggy, varied day trips.
Well behaved pets are most welcome, avoiding if possible July-August (too many children not used to dogs). This is a real paradise for dogs, with long free walks possible on the vast estate !

Bedroom with 2 single beds and bunk beds, bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, bedroom with a double bed communicating with bedroom with bunk beds, bedroom with 1 single bed and a double bed + 1 bunk bed, bedroom with a double bed, very large dining / living room (with double sofa bed), fully equipped separate kitchen (dishwasher, large cooker with gas burners and electric oven, microwave oven, large fridge), twin showers room with sink, bathroom with bath/shower and sink, shower room with sink and toilet, two separate toilets, very large covered terrace with table for 20 people.
The sofa-bed brings flexibility depending on the family composition, but the units are most suitable for the indicated capacity.
The upper bed of bunk beds is not allowed for children under 6 years.
All units are fully furnished and equipped and have a terrace (porch) with outdoor furniture. They also have a mini HiFi system or at least a combined clock-radio-CD.
Free Internet (Wi-Fi) available everywhere.
Laundry facilities available to guests at a small charge (washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board).

Un village de vacances en pleine nature très calme, avec de nombreuses activités sportives proposées, c'est un endroit paisible pour se ressourcer et se retrouver en famille. Il y a aussi des activités extérieures au domaine mais il faut bien téléphoner car certaines sont fermées( gabarre fumeloise, buggy, quad...). Il y a pleins de choses à découvrir dans cette région que je recommande fortement.
