About this cottage rental
Le Hameau du Périgord, located in the heart of a 21-hectare wooded estate and rated 4 stars, is a true haven of peace. This former 18th-century farmhouse, carefully renovated, consists of three gîtes, a games room with its own terrace, and a large swimming pool. It can accommodate up to 20 guests + 1 extra bed, offering the perfect setting for group stays that combine charm and authenticity with modern comfort.
The layout of the estate has been designed to ensure privacy for everyone while encouraging shared moments together.
The hamlet is completely secluded, with no nearby neighbors, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay in total freedom, without worrying about disturbing anyone. We never rent the property to separate groups; it is exclusively shared among family or friends.
No unpleasant surprises: bed linen, bath towels (not pool towels), and all utilities are included. For your comfort, you will also find numerous amenities such as an XXL fire pit barbecue, fully equipped kitchen utensils, a ping-pong table, two foosball tables, as well as a football field, volleyball/badminton area, and other games to enhance your leisure time. Dogs are welcome: €25 per stay per dog, entirely donated to a local animal shelter (SPA of Périgueux).
The hamlet is also equipped with fiber-optic internet, providing a fast and reliable connection, as well as a Type 2 charging station for electric vehicles.
To make the most of your stay, several on-demand services are available, such as: private chef, vineyard tours & on-site wine tastings, massages, yoga classes, and babysitting.

Red gîte: 160 m², 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 toilets, capacity of 10 guests. Large fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room, suitable for hosting all guests on site.
Green gîte: 120 m², fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, capacity of 6–7 guests.
Blue gîte: 60 m², fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, capacity of 2 guests.
Detailed description:
Red gîte: Independent house of 160 m² for 10 guests, composed of 4 bedrooms (including 2 master suites).
The gîte features a living room with a 50-inch flat-screen TV, smart TV with DVD player, and a large dining room that can accommodate all guests staying on the property. The kitchen is fully equipped for large groups, including two dishwashers, an XXL Smeg stove, two large fridge-freezers, a microwave, a Nespresso machine, several coffee makers, toasters, kettles, etc. This gîte also includes 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets.
Green gîte: Independent house on two levels, with a surface area of 120 m², accommodating up to 8–9 guests.
On the ground floor, you will find a large bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed (140 x 200), a baby crib with changing table, as well as a bathroom and a separate toilet. The open-plan kitchen with dining area and living room (flat-screen TV and DVD player) opens onto a private enclosed garden. On the first floor, there are 2 large bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed, the other with two single beds plus a pull-out bed, a toilet, and a bathroom with washing machine.
Blue gîte: Charming independent house of 60 m², ideal for 2 guests.
The open-plan kitchen leads to the living/dining room equipped with a flat-screen TV and DVD player, as well as a separate bedroom, a toilet, and a bathroom.
All our gîtes have been newly renovated and fully equipped to ensure optimal comfort in a preserved setting. The bedding includes high-quality memory foam mattresses (BIO certified), and double beds measure 160 x 200 cm. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, but we kindly ask you to bring your own pool towels. Baby beds and high chairs are available upon request.
The hamlet is surrounded by numerous walking trails, ideal for hiking or cycling. It offers a 360° panoramic view, with no overlooking neighbors or disturbances. For an overview of the property, you can watch the drone video.

We have just returned from a 2 wk stay at this stunning hamlet.Driving up to ‘Nadalie’ takes your breath away, its beautiful. The buildings have been beautifully converted to a small village with white shingle, beautiful flowers & shrubs, grape vines & fruit trees, seating nooks everywhere to enjoy the surroundings, plenty of chairs & sun beds. The Gites are perfectly spaced so that you can get away and have some alone time if needed, or gather in the main house or games room, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Perfect for our dogs, as they could run free without any worry.Sadly the fabulous pool is not heated, so we couldn’t use it often as it was just too cold, we had a few days of sunshine but also had rain. But it is the end of the season!Overall, we had a fabulous time at Nadalie, the owners Laure & her daughter Yseult were very attentive answering messages & sorting out any problems immediately, they very kindly gave my mum a gift for her birthday too.Whilst they do provide towels in the gites, they are a little tired and could do with replacing, a couple of big fluffy ones would be nice & make it a little more luxurious. We would definitely come back to the beautiful place, but maybe when it’s a bit warmer! Thankyou

The perfect place for an extended family holiday. My husband, our three children and their families, 14 of us in total, have just spent a wonderful holiday at lLe Hameau. The area is fantastic for exploring the Dordogne but above all the accommodation and the setting are perfect for a large group holiday. The three houses are very well equipped, comfortable and provide space and privacy but the communal dining and kitchen areas in the Red Gite allow for the entire group to eat and socialise together. The massive swimming pool is amazing and we spent many hours enjoying swimming and having fun there. The games room has plenty of activities to please all ages. The fact that we had the whole place to ourselves was a real plus. Our hosts were superb, discrete but always available to help. Communication with them was excellent, prompt and we were made to feel very welcome.We also had a special meal for our wedding anniversary prepared by Céline which was arranged through our hosts. The meal was of high quality and great value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending this venue as it provided everything you could want. Thank you to Yseult, Laure and Norbert

We vacation every year with a group of friends ranging from 13 to 18 people. In recent years, some children also go with us. This was by far the best vacation and that was mainly because of this top notch accommodation. There is everything from a large “game room,” a soccer field, tennis/full baseball field and a gigantic pool. You can sit in the sun and in the shade. The spaces are huge; both inside and outside.
We were also received very hospitably and it was no problem at all that we arrived two hours early.
The only downside: there were not enough wine glasses, but we bought and left them so there are plenty now. In other words, do not hesitate and book this accodomation. You will not regret it.
