Manoir du Suquet

Séjour agréable dans une belle bâtisse gérée par un propriétaire sérieux qui met tout en œuvre pour assurer l intendance. Rien ne manque dans les logements, de la climatisation à l electromenager, en passant par les serviettes de toilettes de qualité. Un gros plus : le coin repas extérieur couvert , à l abri du cagnard ainsi qu une grande piscine entourée de fauteuils et parasols. Parking privé attenant au domaine, facilite le transport des bagages. En résumé , propriété dans un bel écrin de verdure au calme. Accès facile à Issigeac , Beaumontois en Périgord et Monpazier entre autre

We had a gorgeous stay at Manoir du Suquet. My grand children didn’t want to leave. For days afterwards they kept asking to go back. The property is set in a peaceful rural location with beautiful views across sunflower fields. The evenings watching the sunset together with the excellent and refreshing pool were highlights of our stay. It was a warm weekend so we swam in the afternoon, the children especially loved the pool. There is also a well maintained tennis court which some of our group made use of. Suquet was the perfect place to slow down and relax, everything we needed was provided. The linen and towels were beautiful and the beds very comfortable. In addition there was so much to enjoy in the surrounding area. We explored the nearby villages, wandered through the local markets, spent a day seeing where a section of the Tour de France finished, and walked along on the Dordogne River. It was delightful having so many things to do while still being able to come back to our quiet and relaxing accommodation. Our hosts Skip and Steph were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely at home. They offered great suggestions for places to visit, restaurants to try, and markets to explore, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Their genuine kindness and enthusiasm for the area made a big difference to our holiday. We made some wonderful memories here and hope to book another visit.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Manoir du Suquet. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - they met us on arrival, gave us a tour of the beautiful property, and shared great tips for activities to do in the area. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed cooking at home and eating on the private terrace. The property is very family friendly, suited to both younger and older children. We highly recommend the Thursday night market and Sunday morning market in Issigeac, just five minutes away, as well as swimming and kayaking in the Dordogne.
