About this cottage rental
Designed to comfortably accommodate 24 people, the Gîtes de La Braude are available in two separate entities communicating through an interior garden: The barn and the house. It is possible to rent only one of the two structures outside the summer season, at a reduced rate.
Ideally located below Belves, a small medieval town where you can get your supplies, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, the lodgings enjoy absolute country tranquility, while being a few kilometers from the Dordogne River and major tourist sites surrounding.
Everything is done to bring you maximum comfort, a change of scenery and rest, and try to satisfy young and old: spacious and comfortable rooms, tasteful decoration, large flowered and lit gardens, numerous activities and facilities (heated swimming pool, bathtub spa, billiards, pétanque, table tennis, pony rides, ...), farm products and animals, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, personalized welcome, varied services, ...

We were a family and friends group of 18 - from 4 yrs old to early 70s. The location is brilliant - private but with good road, rail and air access and wonderful locations to explore- the markets at Salat, the evening food at Belves, the amazing chateaux and forts, the Lascau cave painting experience. The cave dwellings in Belves and the canoeing at Sioraic. We enjoyed using the large well equipped kitchen to cook meals for the group - eaten outside in the verandah area - lots of seating. The pool area was perfect for us - lots of shaded space for lounging and swimming. The spa area is a little paradise.
