Cottage 2 persons 10 minutes Rance

First impressions were of a compact living area. Nice shower room and a lovely big bedroom upstairs. It was clean and fresh and it was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The outside area was brilliant. There was somewhere to sit in the shade, a nice sofa and lounger area and another couple of chairs to sit and admire the garden and take in the last rays of sunshine of the day. Moreover than all of this was the welcome we were given by Francine and Geraud. What a lovely couple they were. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given many gifts of fruit from the garden and on the last evening we were treated to a special desert that Francine had prepared and we had very enjoyable evening eating it together with local cider and getting to know each other. We were also treated to a goodie bag on our departure with local delacies and places of interest to visit on the next leg of our journey. What a truly lovely couple. We shall rember them with fondness.

This cosy studio is perfectly placed to explore the area around Dinan and the beautiful Rance Valley. It is very clean, well equipped and the hosts are so warm and welcoming. Their superb hospitality made our stay extra special. We stayed with our cocker spaniel and there is a fenced garden and you have your own terraced area in the lovely garden. The only thing to note is that the large main bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase which may not suit everyone. It was not a problem for us!

A perfect stay in a location near beautiful places to visit. The host could not be more helpful or anxious to see that my stay was perfect. I can’t wait to return.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, the gite was very well equiped and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for the Rance and Dinan and being situated towards the rear of the property was very quiet. Off road parking was another plus.
