Very disappointing.

The location was excellent. We were very near the port of Dinan. There was a plentiful selection of restaurants and the walk to the walled town is only minutes away.

The gite is very tired and shabby. Having read the reviews we were very surprised. It needs a complete overhaul and all the clutter removed.

Dinan and St Malo are amazing and the property is very well situated next to the old port of Dinan

gardens were great for the dog, the location was lovely, and the property had been renovated to a nice standard, the property is very well located in the old port of Dinan where there were several choices of restaurants/ bars and eateries.

Wi-Fi was none existent, many steps up a fairly steep path, lack of off road parking- although street parking was usually available but could be some way away from the property. Due to lack of WiFi communication with the host took more time than hoped for.

Lovely gite in a fabulous location very close to the canal and its restaurants and a short steep climb to the beautiful historic town of Dinan.

The rooms are not soundproofed so you can hear noise from the rooms above.

Stairs! No mention in details of number of steps from Road to front door, unlit at night, and property being on three levels Outside gate was broken, as too was the parasol, garden needed some tending.

Great choice in Dinan

We came to a sweet house. Beautifuly designed and organized. The bedrooms were big and clean. We enjoyed the yard, which was wide and came with a lot of toys for the kids to play with and comfortable chairs for us to rest. The location was absolutely amazing. Within a minute you are at the port near restaurants and a bolunjurie, while the street itself is very quiet. There is a place for two cars to park for free by the house. Natalie was there for us for any question, and she left us a house fully equipped so nothing was missing. Only when we asked for a ventilator, then she came with a new one that she bought and assembled it right away for us. We loved the place!

The gite was very spacious and comfortable with a small garden area. It was in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars by the river. The walk up to the old part of town was very picturesque but steep!

Just very minor things like creaky bathroom and bedroom doors and a climbing rose hanging across the entrance door.

Love the location and size of the house, but please read the reviews

The House is lovely, and a good size, split over 3 floors, with 2 double bedrooms and a very comfy cosy living space There was some biscuits and a bottle of cider on the table for us when we arrived. and plenty of tea and coffee, and other things you might need The garden in front of the house is cute, and perfect for a furry friend to wonder in Location is great, you are a 5 min walk away from the River, where there sits a bakery and a number of very good restaurants along the water side. You can also continue walking up in to the town in about 15mins.. but if you have problems with step walks, then think twice

There is no mention of the steps ( big steps) up to the house, which are not lit if you arrive at night. There is a senor for lights, but this only comes on when you reach the top Communication with Nathalie the host was a bit difficult, and the instructions we were given of which house we were staying was a little confusing when we arrived. We had some problems with the internet connection, and the TV and were not given any information about checkout procedure, We did speak to Natalie and she informed us she was very busy with her new born, and was sorry for slow communication There are some bad points about the house. There is no sound isolation between floors at all, and the floor creaks. So if 2 couples or even a family were staying, be prepared to hear all what is going on in every room The kitchen is in need of an update badly. There is everything there, but its looks tired and old, with utensils and kitchen wear that looks like peoples left overs, rather than bought for the property

Very disappointed, poor standard and totally overpriced

Location. This is an excellent location with easy access to Dinan Port and all the bars and restaurants.

First impressions were bad. No indication of where the property was, and as you approached it the garden was totally overgrown with random plastic garden furniture scattered around in a scruffy manner. There was even an abandoned lawnmower. Inside it is clear that the property has massive potential, but it fails in cleanliness and standard of fittings. The sofas stank and there was a general feeling of dirtiness. TV wouldn’t work until the Android box has been rebooted several times and the oven didn’t work either, a problem as we had planned to eat in. Guttering was blocked and overflowing, which was noisy all night as it was raining. Shower was hanging off the wall. Advert is also misleading as it says there is parking, but there isn’t.
