Excellent Value Gite

Nice compact Gite with everything you need. Main town is beautiful however there is a steep climb up a cobbled street if you walk from this accommodation .

Wasn’t easy to identify where Gite was and where to park. Steep steps up to garden and accommodation were slippery and needed clearing plus the steps lighting where not working so a torch was required.

The perfect house, but with certain problems

The house is very close to Dinan, about 3min walk until the harbor, 13min walk up to the city center. All was clean and comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped. Messages were timely and complete. Parking slot inside the house has only 2 slots, but is very convenient (if the city is not in a busy day, you will find free parking outside). The house is spread across 3 levels: ground level with kitchen and TV room (sofa bed), 1st floor has one double room, one toilet and one bathroom, and 2nd floor has the room with one double bed and a single bed. Garden is closed, perfect for who has animals. Host was kind at all times and I found very kind that there was charbon for the barbecue left for us, even if we didn't use it.

Absolutely no sound isolation: you hear the smallest noise across the entire house (please note that I'm not an hypersensitive person at all). Wood staircases are very dangerous for children and elder people. They also generate a lot of noise, even if you don't wear shoes, which means if you need to go to the toilet during the night you will wake up the entire house. I must say the sound problem is within the house only. We didn't hear anything from our neighbors. The dish washing machine was not working.

Lovely Gite in a beautiful location. Nathalie was very helpful. The accomodation was comfortable and warm and we had everything we needed. There were some lovely additional details like sweets for the children and Christmas decorations. I would definitely visit again and recommend.

There are quite a few steps to reach the property but as long as you are prepared for this it is fine.

Welcoming cottage at a nice location for a family holiday

Very quiet cottage in a nice location. Good size for a family to stay and children to play. Outside sofa, chair and BBQ are perfect for a nice holiday. Very convenient and good wifi. The host kindly provided coffee and sweets making you feel welcoming.

The property was lovely. It had a fully equipped kitchen. Two good size bedrooms. The bathroom is a good size and well appointed. Loved the little front yard which faces onto a grassy area which is shared by the other tenants. This was a nice way to meet some fellow travellers on the grass. The host was very helpful and communicative.

Wir haben uns 12 Tage lang dort sehr wohlgefühlt und ich würde immer wieder hinwollen.

Die Lage ist genial: zentral und sehr ruhig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Größe der Zimmer sehr angenehm, gut ausgestattet.

Die Isolierung zwischen den Etagen ist wirklich nicht gut.

Une vue imprenable sur la Rance et sur cette magnifique ville de Dinan, à une encablure du port de plaisance et des nombreux commerces qu’il est facile de rejoindre à pied. Point de parking intérieur mais il y a toujours de la place Rue de la Madeleine. Petit plus, votre hôte vous recevra avec quelques douceurs pour petits et grands. À recommander absolument.

Muy buen alojamiento para visitar Dinan.

La ubicación es buena, pero para visitar el centro histórico a pie hay bastante desnivel. La situación cerca del puerto en un sitio muy bonito y tranquilo. Las vistas desde el alojamiento son maravillosas, y el jardín que dispone es estupendo (Para niños ideal). Todo el interior de la casa es muy confortable y acogedor.

Solo hay un hueco de parking para un coche en la propiedad, y los alojamientos son cuatro, por lo que el parking del vehículo se debe buscar en la calle.
