Located at heart of the Valpolicella vineyards, Casa Rosa is a newly refurbished farmhouse and it is part of an ancient and vast wine estate. It is situated at the edge of a plain from which you can admire beautiful sunsets. Guided bicycle tours and wine tastings in the numerous wineries surrounding us are available on request. The closest town is the romantic and lovely city of Verona (15Km away) and it is only 20Km from spectacular Garda lake. Wonderful hiking in the Lessinia mountains (8Km) and Monte Baldo. Attractions within driving distance also include Venice (135Km) and Milan (160 Km). Amusement parks nearby include safari park Parco Natura Viva (14Km) and Gardaland (23Km). The city fair Veronafiere is only 15Km away making it very convenient for Vinitaly, Fieracavalli, Marmomac and Motor Bike Expo. Other attractions within driving distance include the Alps, the Dolomites, Mantua and Bologna. The airport is just 17Km away.

The villa was beautiful, historic and spacious. There was air conditioning on the top floor, fans on the middle and ground floor. We stayed in a heatwave (39 degrees) which made the villa quite hot during the day and night.The villa is excellently situated between Verona, Venice and all the beautiful towns of Lake Garda. There was a BBQ which we used nightly to have family meals outside whilst the sun was setting.We arrive on a Sunday afternoon Lidl was open to 8.30pm, which allowed us to stock up on food and drink for the evening and the week we stayed in the villa.We messaged the host a number of times, and they were very responsive and addressed all our questions and needs to make sure our holiday was the best it could be.Security is excellent, there was a guard that patrolled the area and he was very friendly.I would recommend the villa for large groups and families, there is plenty of space in the villa and the 'barn' had games and a place to eat if the weather was not so good. The villa has a small pool, which is good for splashing about, not for swimming.The villa is quite a walk from the local town, and in the high heat, it was a challenge to consider.

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely spacious and characterful house. It’s in a great location, close to the local village San Pietro in Cariano where we found some great restaurants, and equidistant (about 25 minutes) from Verona and Lake Garda. So plenty to see and do. Giada was most helpful and very communicative with plenty of local recommendations, all in all I would highly recommend this property. It was perfect for 4 friends each wanting their own bedroom, but being able to enjoy the communal spaces together, both inside, and out on the sunny terrace for breakfast. Thanks again Giada for everything

We ware one week in the house with oure 3 kids and partners. The house was perfect fore the hole familie. In the big room we place oure racebikes. From the house was it easy to go to Verona, the Laké and the valley. We had a perfect week there👌

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean but a bit rustica and the wi fi was intermittent. Location near the train tracks so there's some train noise at night. Our host was very accommodating and our overall stay was pleasant.

We had a great time in Italy. The house was lovely & being located in the middle of the Valpolicella wine region, its perfect for exploring Lake Garda, Verona, Venice & the Dolomites. We spent a month at Casa Rosa al Pule and truly enjoyed the experience! The house has lots of character and plenty of space for families. It is located on a vineyard outside of town, so the atmosphere is very relaxing; we enjoyed dinner outside almost every evening. The pool was perfect for the kids, and they enjoyed the spacious playroom! Giada was a wonderful host; she always responded quickly and was happy to assist with whatever we needed. She even helped us arrange for a chef twice while we were there, and both meals far exceeded our expectations. We are still talking about the delicious tiramisu! We appreciated the proximity to Verona, Venice, and Lake Garda, and some of our favorite experiences were visiting the small, beautiful towns nearby (Borghetto and Soave were two of our favorites)! We are so glad that we chose Casa Rosa al Pule for our vacation, and we would happily stay there again.

We stayed with family from the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. Nice to be together but 4 km to the nearest palce for shupping.. Dangerous roads for walking in the neighbourhood. Furthermore we had no TV and very poor or no internet in the afternoons and evenings. Little problems with some things in the house but not worth mentioning.

Accommodation was very nice, spacious villa with good amount of bathrooms - suits well for families & group of friends. The location is calm & peaceful with lots of wineyards nearby. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful and helped us a lot in finding restaurants nearby, booking activities, how to move around, etc. Thanks a lot for the lovely week, we'd be happy to come here again later!

The property is large with 4 good sized bedrooms nice lounge,dining room with small kitchen. There is 3 bathrooms with showers plus a bath, a large barn attached for eating ,relaxing and children play area plus very cool area to be in. Outside is a large lawn area with a big children's playhouse ,a nice relaxing size pool at a nice chilled temperature which is great 1st thing in the morning ,taught my 5yr grandson to swim . Location is fantastic surrounded by grapevines and fantastic view's. That's the plus now the minus. We all got mosquitos bites so will need repellant. Would like to have those blue light units to attract insects. Had fans to keep cool would be nice to have air-conditioning units Now,would I stay there again, YES great location for a family, a very chilled area to relax. I like to say a big thank you to the owner who always replied to any queries we had straight away.

It was a very nice time in the Casa Rose al Pule. The contact with Anna and her employees was perfect. We will recommend the lodging anyway. The place San Pietro in Cariano is a typically small place in the Valpolicella region with restaurants, bars and shopping possibilities.

we loved the house and it suited our needs. It is an old house but has great character. We did have a lot of water come in the house when it rained but nothing a mop and bucket could not solve. The house served its purpose for what we needed. Must add the communication with the people involved with the house was excellent.

A Month at Casa Rosa

Casa Rosa provided a very comfortable and convenient place for our family to spend time together. It was very clean, spacious and peacefully decorated with pale colors and natural wood, always comforting and grounding to come home to after a day of adventuring. The kitchen was very accommodating, simple yet provided everything we needed. Bedrooms had comfortable beds, fans and nice professionally laundered linens and towels. Nice clean bathrooms and bath tub. Plenty of room for a family with children to gather and enjoy. Small swimming pool an added benefit. Casa Rosa was well maintained during our month long stay and our host Anna could not have been more accommodating and gracious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Anna is a great host, and we had a thoroughly relaxing time, visiting many of the wonderful places easily reached from the house and by train to Venice. There was plenty of room and amenities for us all, and we recommend it unreservedly.

There were six adults and we were very comfortable. The kitchen provided all we needed to cook occasional meals. The setting and grounds are just like in the photos. Anna is a great host. She provided tons of useful information. The villa is very well located. Fifteen minutes from Verona, the train station, and the airport.

We came late at night and found a beautiful and a very clean house. it was full of character, just as we expected from the pictures . Anna was great and very responsive. She helped us with any question and was so kind to leave us some goodies at our arrival. We were 4 adults and 3 children and had enough space for all of us. We had a lot of fun in the Garda lake area, all attractions are in a half an hour to 1.5 hour car driving. We also visited Venice which is 1.5 hour car drive. There is no TV in the house nor a microwave. We thought it's necessary. Also, could have been nice to have an espresso coffee machine . When walking on the wood floor upstairs it makes pretty much noise for those who are downstairs. We will sure come back to this house if we stay in the area. Anna, thanks a lot!

We arrived quite late and Anna still took the time to great us and show us around the house, she also provided us with a little welcome basket which was really kind. Anna was always on the end of the phone if we needed help or advice. The house was spacious and never felt overcrowded even for the 7 of us. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, well equipped, and conveniently located. It had the feel of a traditional Italian farmhouse but with modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed the outdoor eating area, dining there most evenings. Anna was delightful, explaining everything we needed to know and leaving us with maps, brochures and lists of restaurants. The wine in this area is especially nice, more full bodied than we expected. Don't miss wine tasting at Masi and Zardini as well as Spada. Day trips included Lake Garda & Venice along with exploring the small villages and back roads and seeking out local street markets. We highly recommend Casa Rosa.

The property is well furnished in living accommodation but kitchen and bathrooms would benefit from improvements - especially if meals for 6-8 people were to be prepared. Kitchen lacks much workspace and the huge sink was not helpful. A microwave would have been a useful addition but there is no room at the moment for it. Two of the bathrooms adjoin and so privacy is not that great. Owner helpful but left very little information about the property or area, just leaflets. Main advantage is the accessibility for Verona, Padua, the lakes and the villages of the Veneto. Plenty of heat in the evenings and hot water. Some updating would improve this property. Some noise from trains.

We spent two idyllic weeks at Casa Rosa. The house is beautiful and Anna is the perfect host. The location is excellent, a quiet rural area with easy access to Verona and Lake Garda (both less that 30 mins drive). We loved the games room and pool. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Casa Rosa is exactly as advertised - perhaps better. The home is a full four bedrooms that are very comfortable with three full baths making it perfect for our family. The kitchen had everything needed to cook at home and the dining room table is plenty big for 8 people. Additionally, the family room had two sofas and a great chair that made it a great room to relax and enjoy the country air. Outside there is a covered dining area that was perfect for evening meals or reading and a pool that was relaxing and refreshing in the hot afternoon. Located right in the middle of vineyards on all sides it was a perfectly relaxing place to use as the start and end of our days exploring the countryside as well as Verona. Ana, the owner, was GREAT at helping us make reservations at the local restaurants and at giving us directions whenever we needed - she was very helpful and wonderfully accommodating. Be sure to use Ana's suggestions for places to eat and visit - they were spot on, especially the Enoteca Della Valpolicella!

We visited the property with six total guests and found the house was the perfect size for the number of guests we had. The home was clean and comfortable. There is a grocery store near by which was convenient. The beds were comfortable. We never ran out of hot water even with six of us showering in the morning. We used this home as a home base to explore Valpolicella, Prosecco Road, Bolzano, Alto Adige, Lake Garda, and Verona. It was a great central location for driving to all of these places. I would recommend the home for families, couples, or friends. The only negative thing is that there are wood floors throughout which can be a bit noisy. You can hear pretty much everything throughout the house.

A Very Special Place

Authentic Italian farmhouse that is even more stunning than the pictures. We have been traveling throughout Italy and Casa Rosa was by far the most spacious and amenity laden. The bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds and down comforters. Anna was so gracious meeting us in the town to help us find our way to the house. The landscape was private, breathtaking and had great views of the surrounding towns and mountains. We went to local wineries, drove to Lake Garda and went into the Verona Christmas market. You cannot go wrong with Casa Rosa. We hope to return soon.
