Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Arcachon. Nous avions pris nos vélos et on peut faire pas mal de choses sans utiliser la voiture. Boulangerie,resto, pizzeria à proximité.

This was a lovely house in a great area. Outside of Arcachon but we hired bikes and cycled everyday. Arcachon is roughly 5-10 minutes on a bike, depending on how young your kids are. Lovely little square where theres a bakers and great pizza place. But the best find was the fishmonger. You can order a platter of fresh seafood for around €30 per person. 2 servings fed 4 of us. One point to note, theres no Wi-Fi. We had to tether to the phone. Beautiful house and garden. Loved it.
