Posada Verona Hostel

Incredible!! Firstly the location was brilliant, only a 5/10 min walk from the train station. Once we arrived we were greeted and given lots of helpful information, very friendly staff. The place was lovely, very clean, well decorated and just gorgeous really. The rooms were nice and we felt very safe as two girls. We shared an all girls dorm and loved it, social place to make new friends. Would so recommend if you’re coming to Verona xx

It was a dream!! Service, free tea/coffee, a lovely living area, storage space and clear instructions on everything, I felt very well treated especially for the price!! 11/10

Nothing!

Close to train station. Clean room and bathroom. Nice additional shelves for personal items/clothes in the cupboard. Cold tap water in the fridge for use. Some helpful tips for travels. For this price it was an okay place to stay in Verona. I recommend it for solo travellers as it's easy to make connections.

A bit small common space for socialising. Odd rules - not using bathroom and kitchen in 4h window time from 10am-2pm as it's cleaning time (Very inconvenient time and in my opinion way too long for such a small space), sometimes the owner waited a bit more time if we were still in the room but kept the door wide open, air-conditioning in the room is controlled by owner and it's automatically off around 8.45-9.00am, then there is a fan working in the room. The temperature in the room 24-26 degrees. Everyone got a seperate toilet paper roll not sure why. Beds had their years. If you can ignore all these then it's a fine place.

You definitely get what you pay for here. Can’t complain too much for the cost, beds were very comfortable, kitchen space is clean and the whole hostel is cleaned daily. Great storage space within the room and the laundry service is great, you can wash two garments a day for free. There was some free food left behind by other guests which was nice and lots of spices, oils and balsamic vinegar, tea and coffee.

The rooms were very hot at night, only in May with 10°C outside during the night. You also aren’t allowed in the small living space between 11:00-14:00, which is inconvenient for lunches, wanting to hangout in a shared space (on the one couch) and even for to the point where I wasn’t allowed to charge my dying phone for even 5 min as they had started cleaning. The most unsocial hostel I’ve ever been in, no one really says hi or is friendly, but that comes with the self check in and no reception.
